Well, we wrapped up Tyler's project 2 weeks ago, and lately, we've been cranking out a lot of really consistenly cool project cars. Seems like every week, at least one or two more FP cars are hitting the streets!
Tyler has been a longtime customer of ours. To give you a little history...about a year ago, Tyler brought his car in for a complete Greddy TT setup, with UTEC, return fuel system, and all the standard goodies. We made about 400whp and he was on his way home. Then about 5-6 months later, he wanted us to test the limits of the stock block, and switch to the Haltech. We obliged, and he ran the car at 12-13psi on the stock block at 460whp for a few more months. Many of you remember the beat down we gave the car at the ZDAYZ airstrip event last May. So finally, he brought it in for the build, even though the stock block held up just fine.
This time around, we added a whole slew of improvements, including...
Forged Performance S1 Shortblock
Forged Performance Stage II Cylinder Heads
HKS 1000cc Injectors
JWT C8 272 camshafts
Cosworth Plenum (lucky dawg)
Carbonetic Triple Disc
Koyo R-Spec Radiator
Evans NPG+ Waterless Coolant
Greddy EvoTT
FP Bottleneck Restriction Removal
Forged Performance ECU Reflash
The car ended up making 595whp on 93 octane and methanol. Here are some pics, and I will get the dyno charts up tomorrow. I am at home doing this thread, and can't find the file. The car operates nice and smooth, and just like stock.
Hope you guys enjoy the pics!

I have the C8R's in my revup and those suckers make power all the way to redline. Idle is good (mine is set at around 1200rpm). I have a different TT kit than Tyler, but i am sure his results are somewhat similar regarding the power in the upper part of the rpm band
Sweet cant wait to hear mine! I want to idle around 800-900 tho.
Thanks guys and thanks for the thread Sharif. I have to say that I am loving the car so far. I have been driving it every chance i get so i can hurry up and change the break in oil. I havent had one single issue at all.
Once again, thanks to the whole FP crew, I have had so many compliments on how nice the install job was done. Everything is so neat and the attention to detail is top notch.
I wasnt going for any crazy power numbers right now. I know that with the twin fuel pumps this setup has the potential to push some big numbers, and that's what I plan on doing down the road. But I need to get some other things done before I take that step.
Having said that, the power is still nutty. 600whp at Sharif's dyno is nothing to sneeze at and the fact that i can hook up 100% in second makes it worth it. The car pulls hard all the way to redline thanks to the cams and the Cosworth. (Yes, i know i am lucky by getting one of the plenums
) I had an appointment to get some DJ numbers yesterday but that fell through. I am having trouble finding a DJ around here, soif anyone knows of one, LMK. I'm anxious to see the comparison.
Right now, I'm on a temporary ECU and my idle is about 1200 RPM. When I get mine back the idle will be lower and more lopey for sure. But still, at 1100-1200 RPM, it sounds nasty.

Good job Sharif and FP...Tyler congrats on the new build and be safe. I also love the C8's and how hard my car pulls in the upper rpm's. I have mine set at idle about 900 rpms and they sound great
Who does the machining on the Stage II cylinder heads and what do they consist of? Also, what other stuff did the car have, (HKS HG, headstuds)?
At any rate, heartiest congrats on the build. I can only imagine how happy you are to have it all buttoned up. As usual, great job to the entire Forged Performance crew for continuing to deliver the goods.
BTW, what PSI was the 593whp at?
