AAM STG I Twin Turbo: Stock Block, Instant Boost Response - 415whp / 388wtq @ 8psi
We just finished up another AAM twin Kit a couple of days ago - even though its a G, I thought you Z guys might enjoy it - Its a VQ nonetheless!
Just look at the graph - the response and power delivery is insane
- a nice wide power and torque curve. Almost identical to stock - except 170+ more whp!!!!.
Simply put, the car is ultra responsive and a lot of fun to drive. Full boost as soon as your at 100% throttle - just step on it and go.
Build Details:
AAM STG I Twin Kit
- Twin Ball Bearing Garretts
- AAM COMP Manifolds
- Vertical Flow FMIC (retains front impact beam)
- All aluminum fittings and teflon lines
- AAM F/I Flash
- Black 4ply Couplers
AAM Oil Cooler
AAM Oil Pan Spacer
AAM 3" HFCs (NO CEL!)
AAM 2.5" True Dual Exhaust
AAM Basic Fuel System w/ Walbro
AAM Angled Plenum Spacer
Deatschwerks 440cc
UTEC
HKS EVC
HKS SSQV
Competition Forged Flywheel w/ 6 Puck Sprung Clutch
Autometer Nexus Oil Press & EGT
Enjoy the pictures and video (more pics when Jon makes it here through the ice and snow in his s2k LOL):

Generally a stock block twin turbo setup installed will run between 9,500-15,500 depending on what all you add to it (boost controller, clutch, knock amp, gauges, ect.)
This car was such a blast to drive around. It builds more than 6 psi under 2000 rpms!! By the time the pedal is down it is at full boost.

you can worry about gdriver if you want (
) but seriously THIS IS THE PLACE to be for everything VQ FI, including Zs and GsNice pics btw, Awsome power
.
Why need 2 tuner to tune 1 car? Why does he know something you dont? Only way I see this happening is that Mike does the reflash coz it seem to he always insist getting the reflash with utec.
LOL, if I don't answer, I think everyone will keep asking so....
They are modified Garrett GT25Rs with a little trickery on both comp and turbine sides
. They spool instantly, hold boost, and will easily make over 500whp/tq. We just finished up another HR with the same turbos and made about 475whp@9psi (we'll post it up soon). They really allow the stock power range of the VQ to remain intact as well as allowing for over a 300+hp increase in output over stock. They're a great match for 550+hp VQs. I'd love to see what they'd make on a built motor with 18+psi. Any takers?
