Forged Performance: rcdash's Twin Turbo G35
Great writeup Raj. Sandy and I are enjoying the Duke sweatshirts.
Thanks for letting us build the car for you, throughout the twists the turns the buildup plan ended up taking.
This is one fast car......this year's airstrip event is going to be insane!

The car's power level is perfect for its intended purpose - I'll be enjoying it for many years to come I hope. In terms of projects, it's time to move on.
(well, after I get the exhaust, W/M injection, race fuel tune sorted out - lol)

Starting to sound like Steve Martin in "the Jerk"
"I don't need anything,.......except this paddle ball game, this chair, this lamp......"
I'm gonna try to make zdayz so hopefully meet ya there.

I have to admit, I thought about it --- for a split second.

I found one other pic from when I had the JWT kit first installed. Notice the single intake filter on the driver's side front and the white container at the bottom passenger side wheel well - that was JWT's poor attempt at replacing the windshield wiper reservoir. One of the few poorly thought out aspects of the kit (prone to leaking).

The JWT tuner kit should have had the upgrades Forged Performance put into place this time around. You don't keep up with the industry, and folks like GTM will take over - good for them - and us.

Yea, I never understood the single intake on the JWT 700tt kit. Or even the location of the Greddy filters too.....why grab the worst air possible....granted you are sending it through an IC but still.
lookin good.

Thanks guys. Hope to see some of you at the airstrip event.
Coachk, I don't know about the big dawg title this year. I have a feeling competition will be tough - 600+ whp will be the norm. On the plus side, the runway is short, it's all about traction and fast shifting, so it gives everyone a sporting chance... We'll see how it goes. With some C16 or Meth, I should be able to hold my own.

Thanks - and mr. speed demon telling me to be safe - lol. No worries, I'm always extra cautious, which is why the video sucked. Well that and the damn old camera that can't focus in low light.
It's amazing how fast the car gets to 140 at 12 psi. 15 psi will spin 3rd so I backed off for safety.
Disclaimer: That run was performed by a professional (but obviously low cost spinning the wheels like that) driver on a closed track of course. Do not attempt at home or on public roads!
Keep in mind, I'd be using GTM's GT28 kit if I were building in the future. Very balanced set up for a 500 whp daily driver. Forged Performance shortblock, GTM TT, GTM 5AT, Haltech. Nice!

ForgedPerformance has someone that does interior custom work. Very fast and very high quality. I initially wanted the Haltech AFR gauges in the upper cubby, but they were slightly too big. Chris, my main tech and fabricator at Forged, recommended allowing this specialist to make a recommendation. Voila!
As many have said this is a great write-up - I commend you for taking the time to share your experiences with others that might be looking to enter the realm of forced induction.
That you for the kind words Raj, you know I am always a phone call away if you ever need anything I myself have had a long journey with my car, and also feel the same way you do - it was definently worth it!
Congrats and enjoy your beast!

Thanks George. Happy to share my story if it helps others.
It was a privilege to work with GTM on this build. I don't know how you guys find the time to do everything you do - build cars, develop cutting edge products, support your customers... GTM does it all, and excels. Maybe one day you'll make the trek out to the east coast in that supercar of yours... I certainly look forward to meeting you in person someday. If you fly out to NC for ZdayZ, we can always pick you up at the airstrip!
Take care.

LOL. Ha ha! ROFL. It was playing on satellite radio at the time, give me a break I was watching the damn temps warm up and trying to figure out why the camera's autofocus was having a seizure...
