Thanks guys. The pure pump was 557whp. This has a splash of race fuel. And a we also have a 50 shot nitrous tune in the works. I had to take the care off the dynos, becuase the tiny rear tires kept spinning.

I didn't want to chew up his brand new R888's, but looks like i may have to.

Ha ha - are you faulting Jim Wolf's 850bb turbos?

For Sharif's dyno that is actually reasonable. I would estimate over 650 whp DJ STD! I've personally validated the direct comparison between Sharif's dyno and a DJ STD reading. The conversion factor has ranged from 1.1x to 1.4x with many data points to support this (at least a 10% whp increase).

530's might break 400 whp on Sharif's dyno, on pump gas, barely (on a built motor where you can safely run higher boost; if you push a high compression stock motor, you would do a bit better, till it snaps a rod of course).

No number inflation going on there - raw uncorrected DD numbers. I would like to know the exhaust set up though...

The important thing to observe is the area under that smooth curve and how much meat there is under that so early in the powerband. The owner is going to be very happy with it and it's making me think I should've reconsidered the offer to go to 850s. Very nice Sharif.

On our dyno, those are numbers are actually pretty high. If the customer wants inflated dynos numbers , he can go to another dyno.

If you make too much power you get questioned, if you don't make enough power, you get questioned - what will make these people happy?

Great job Sharif, I am sure the customer is very happy, 580rwhp DD uncorrected is no joke.

Sharif,
What do you think the 850's are capable of on your dyno? (just as a comparison agains other setups on your dyno)

About 650whp-700whp if we are killing it with race fuel, aggressive cams, and everything but the kitchen sink. Leaving here for a 7 handle on your dyno number is extremely rare.

The 700bb poops out at about 550whp, and the 530bb about 460whp maximum.

Thanks George, and now he can actually use the power, instead of smoking the tires at 2200rpm.
