Lol. They broke the oil pump gear in the middle of last year and I don't think they have ever really got it put back together and on the dyno.

What main bearings was this motor using and what size? Also what rod bearings and size? Also was the motor put back together or not?

Because I really liked it. One of you SP guys uploaded the pic of the sheared splines on the axle and the cracked oil pump. Where are those pics? Anyone else have them? I cant find them.

That's very sad. This could have easily been avoided if they kept the RPM down a little.

Are they parting out the chassis or what? They had a lot of good parts on it.

a con rod bolt broke after the last refresh. never made it off the dyno. nothing to do with rpm the last time

That's too bad. So vlad's car really is completely carrying the torch now...

I'm a bit bummed that there is one less insane z out there. Don't get me wrong vlad's car is ridiculous, just I really looked up to that car.
I heard through a friend that while the car was stock block you guys reeeeemed it with nitrous. Is that true? Lol 500 shot sounds a bit optimistic for a stock vq, but the rumor says it held for 12 seconds... pretty funny. But then again, if i'm hearing that all the way over here on the west coast who knows what the truth is!
