AAM Built: APS TT, STG II LB, AUTO - 450whp@13psi
Tom, a long time car enthusiast (Maserati fan) came to us stating that something was missing/just not right about his TT'd Auto 350Z Vert. Tom was right - the car was having some issues with its previous built motor that came with the car. One quick look and it was obvious the car had serious cooling issues. Got so hot it warped the heads .
Tom recently went through a double knee replacement!, so it was important to him that his Z was an easy to drive yet high powered summer car. Already well equipped with an APS TT, it was time to get his vert back on the road and running right. His block was salvageable, but a good set of heads were in order. A built block and a solid tune later, we had his 350Z right where he wanted it. Next up for Tom, a good boost controller and 500whp!

Congrats. As Coachk mentioned, power looks on target Cass for a APS TT on a 5AT (esp. without cams). He should be able to hit 500 around 15-16 psi. Also that DJ was uncorrected so difficult to compare. The dip in power is odd for the TC. Usually you get a sudden drop in rpms, not so much power, as fluid coupling occurs. In fact, power should jump a bit at that point. Is any part of the 5AT built?

Well, with the 5AT if you have it on the dyno graph VS Speed it will show that rise and then a dip. If you have it on VS RPMs then it will show a loop in the graph.
The tranny was supposed to be built by SGP. It had new clutch packs in it and the VB and TC were done. The tranny felt really mushy and the TC locked up at different points and it was such a PITA to tune. One pull it would make 15 psi and the next it would make 12. I decided to give it back to him on the safe side until he wanted to invest in a boost controller instead of the already wired up Utec boost control.
Honestly, i am starting to like the Kinetix SSV. I know it has a bad rap on here but i have made some good numbers through it in the past couple years. You really just have to have the right combo for it to work right. Mike just made 276whp SAE on this NA reflash tune the other day on a 03 DE motor with the Kinetix SSV. I was very very surprised because that is the highest NA bolt on SAE DJ i have ever seen. I also made 630 with a Greddy kit through one on 17 psi before and it was a fun car to drive.
