and got it back on the dyno today instead of tomorrow. same thing. same power, with stock intake manifold. power still drops. peaked at 506 whp and 547 wtq, not the exhaust either since we are running just the dp open. no problems with the motor, boost is holding all the way through.

You stated in your OP:
car made 491 whp and 530wtq at 14 psi on pump of course.
Were both runs at 14PSI with an open downpipe? If so, the Kinetix SSV actually lost power (which wouldn't be shocking).
I think drop off in the high RPM's is due to the stock cams and doesn't sound atypical with what we've seen over the years with FI on the VQ with stock cams. Some BC stage 2 cams should fix that and make power to 7000+RPM.
I'm still perplexed though by the high torque versus horsepower numbers. That is not typical of what I've seen with other PowerLab setups that were dyno tested with either a free flowing FI specific exhaust system or an open downpipe.

For clarification...
You stated in your OP:
Yet with the stock plenum it made 506whp and 547wtq.

We don't know for sure yet until we get this clarified by Johnny if both runs were at the same PSI with an open downpipe. I'm assuming they were and hopefully Johnny will confirm this.
Otherwise... If the first run with the Kinetix SSV was done with the Spectrum Elite exhaust on, I would be absolutely shocked that the car didn't make a lot more power on the second run by virtue of the open downpipe alone.

no first run was done at 14psi and same amount of power was made. the final run was made at 17 psi and thats all we could get out of it. digging into it more later. customer wants to do more boost but fuel system is taxed. and yes both runs were done with an open down pipe.

It still doesn't look good for Kinetix that their product made no improvement over stock. Proof yet again of Kinetix continuing to make inflated BS dyno claims.

selling the turbo kit, if im not mistaken he has it posted up for sale already. also, he sold the intake manifold already.
rudeG...i know man, customer is tired of fooling with it. car is quick for what power it has, but he got used to it pretty quick.
