Default Infiniti G35 Powerlab Gt35r

jonathons project "murder"

We really kept it simple on this car. From the paint down to the actual motor build and turbo setup. mod list as follows below

AAM Basic fuel return
JWT Flywheel
RPS Max Clutch
DW 600cc injectors
Utec engine management
Wiesco piston
Eagle rods
ACL moly coated race bearings
All machine work and assembly of motor done by G AND G Race engines
Three angle valve job
cometic head gaskets
arp head studs
arp main studs
Kinetix SSV Replacement intake manifold
Tial bov
tial 44mm bov
Power Lab GT35r turbo kit
Rev up oil pump
all new gaskets and seals

car made 491 whp and 530wtq at 14 psi on pump of course. dyno jet dyno used for tuning.

all body work was redone with ambers vision of what the car could look like. we modified the original nismo front bumper, redid his whole rear bumper and quarter panels, all cf was sanded down and matte cleared, etc. after all body work was done, car was given a fresh coat of java black pearl. wheels were also redone. All paint and body work was done by our new painter DAVE AT PRISTINE IMAGE.

Amazing paint job. Nice drop but that's gonna rub on bumps for sure. Also, solid #s but a little surprised to see wtq > whp. Cats still present perhaps? Got a dynograph to share? What compression ratio? Also, why cometic HG? Is this the new tapered Kinetix manifold? Sorry for all the ?, but you left out the nitty gritty!

Great looking car. Congrats.

Great looking car. Congrats.
Thanks, car does rub in the rear when we had it, just a little bit, but we got our painter to cut a lil bit out of the rear fender. good to go now! cats are not on the car due to it being the single turbo setup. 3 inch mated to the greddy spectrum elite. Dyno graph we do have, but its on the dyno comp. we will get it tomorrow and post it up. compression ratio is 8.8 to 1. we never had a problem yet with the cometic. We normall use HKS or Cosworth, but customer wanted to cut costs if he could. Yes it is the new tapered kinetix manifold.

as far as the tq being higher then the hp, we pondered the same thing. dyno jet 5 smoothing on std. We did notice at the very top of the rpm, the hp would drop. after doing a lil research, we looked on the 650/630 dyno chart from intense and the hp and tq did the same thing. come up strong, and drop off before redline to about 550-560.
