Once the car is lowered the the final ride height it will look much better.
you can put it anywhere and it doesnt need to be that big. the greddy kit usually mounts it above the drivers side filter.

or you can get a canister like this

other option is like the GTM kit

>6 months and still not delivered? I kind of wish shops wouldn't make a build thread unless there's an actual build.... if anything this thread showing how much of a snails pace said shop works at. Not this thread in particular (yet), but it kind of reminds me of those GTM dreamer threads that fizzled off and died somewhere.

Good luck with the build and hope it's done soon!

^^ Good to hear that it's wrapping up soon. In regards to 'actual build' of course it is, but 6 months+ (it's not done yet) is a long time to wait IMO especially since the goals were known from the beginning... this is far from a moving target. I can understand if the customer had some cash flow issues or something...
Otherwise if you don't mind I'd be curious to know exactly why this particular project takes 6+ months?

Changes made in the process, parts delays that were out of their hands, upgrades, additions... With anything this complex, the schedule never gets shorter, but the finished product is the primary concern.
And, sometimes working with the best means waiting your turn
