GTM's shady reputation is nothing new and your story isn't a revelation. Most people learned about GTM a long time ago when Alberto and others came forward after they got screwed by GTM. Unfortunately, the VQ community has no shortage of newbs who fail to do adequate research on this forum before picking a shop, turbo kit, tuner, etc. This is probably part of the reason why Alberto was so harsh on you... because you didn't learn from his hard lesson with GTM or the numerous others who had blown GTM motors. People who did their research and learned from other forum members' past experiences already knew to stay away from GTM.
I posted an independent inspection and breakdown of one of his motors a long time ago. I got called a liar, run off and banned by people that he eventually screwed over also. Dealing with GTM ruined me basically. His motors were garbage, and he always placed blame on the tuner despite 100% sucess rate prior to dealing with his junk motors with made in Mexico cams and shoddy machine work. You wont find the thread or the results I posted Im sure they were deleted a long time ago by a certain super mod.
I like the soho kit, it is just so expensive! I am all about improving on an already great design. I will be watching for your turbo upgrade!

I don't have any regrets about how things ended up, I learned a lot and the car is running well. I knew about all the issues prior to engaging with GTM and at the end of the day the decision was always in my hand so I don't blame them fully for the outcome.
I understand GTM burned some people... But is it really worth it to clog up this thread with your hatred?

You can head over to the370 website and take a look in the Forced Induction section. There should be enough for you to read for a week. It's too bad things turned out the way they did but I wish them the best of luck.
Perhaps if my car wasn't stroked already then this kit would be pretty good. I was debating between the BP and SOHO kit, but Zcar wants to do the SOHO since they had pretty good success with the Momemtum kit. As of now, no plans to change anything on the motor side.
SOHO kit might not be a good idea with your car (exhaust back pressure), between the two I’d opt for the BP kit with a T4 turbo.

The BP is my preferred option with the 6466 and T4 1.32 but the lead time is 3 months. I might wait or perhaps not do anything more with the car.

That's one of my fear as well but given the high resemblance to the powerlab and momentum kit i don't think it's a huge risk. The bigger concern I have is the limited options i have with the charger.

Very untrue sir, we have sold about 10 kits to customers in the US and even in Canada, we have even sold a kit to Hills Garage for a customer of theirs if you would like to speak with Frank over there.

Are you running a 4.1 stroker kit in your engine? and this is why you may think you will run into backpressure issues?

Well Apparently there is "no one" running the GTM SC kit or TT kit for that matter...
Here is the build log of the tablet install in my car for those who are interested. Eventually when everything is up and running, DashCommand will be used.
