Thanks for the kind words, I would scrap it all tomorrow if someone wanted to buy it for what it cost to make it... I just try keeping busy...
I have the zspeed undertray also, I thought it was worth every penny but I still take it off for oil changes because I am usually working on something else down in that area at the same time.

You could probably make a decent living just selling those at a mark up. That is a really clean 15" speaker set up for a Z.

MDF was $32 for a 4x8 sheet... Still have 1/3 of it (also got it for $16 in the home depot bargin bin that was lucky)
Foam was $8 at harbor freight... Also had a lit laying around, and used the back cushion from my S10 seat...
Glue was $4.50 for the titebond... Think the 8oz of gorilla glue was like $8...and I'm pretty sure I got the tite bond sealant on clearance for like 50¢
The leather I have rolls of it laying in my back room, a lady that works for an upholstery company gave it to us... They used it for sewing leather seats for motorcycle supposedly... They changed fabric companies and gave away all their old stock... I'm pretty sure it would cost more than I would have wanted to spend if I didn't have it.
So total cost was like $37ish plus the sub was $100, and the amp was $100
Cant image what a audio shop would charge for a similar set-up... Probably be around my total cost just for the enclosure.
when dboy pulls up next to ya

In other news I spent 9.7% of the value of of my ZR on MPSS. Would I do it again, absolutely!
Black, round and sticky nuf for street so I won't bore you with snaps.
Kinda funny, walked into Discount Tire, confirmed sizes. Guy looks at and me says, "Do you have aftermarket wheels?"
I laffed and said, "They got a lil bigger!"
Will be pulling wheels this wknd to remove leftover weight tape, smh. Still $220 cheaper than TireRack.

My front bumper got smacked by something a truck chucked at it on the highway over the weekend. End result: 8-inch crack. Bumper's going in for an estimate today to get it replaced. I'm glad that was the only damage, but I'm pissed that it happened at all. Comprehensive with a $250 deductible is my only comfort.

Wet sanded, waxed, washed maybe not in that order... Thought about sanding all paint off, then thought about second round... Guess we will see how long I can hold out.
Its not winning any car shows... Better then it was though.... I think

Dude, you need to use some sort of cutting compound after the wetsanding. I use 3m with a cheap harbor freight polisher and get body shop results in my backyard.
that was with spray cans. The cutting compound is the key.

Actually I have a lot of areas that need attention haha
What spray paint did you use? I got a qt of super black laying around, but I usually just rattle can everything and then find trouble spots sand it off and redo it.

From my own experience, I wouldn't wrap that.
I wrapped my whole car no problem. Except the front bumper. If its a well painted surface, its easy as can be. I could not get the wrap to stick to some parts after about 4 tries. I ended up having to prime, paint, clear, sand, and polish anyways. Not to mention the front bumper is the hardest piece to wrap to start with.
Long story short, you'll need to pretty much paint it perfectly to get the wrap to work anyways. Might as well just paint it from the start.

Its actually been painted, it was silver when I got it... I sanded and painted it black, then sanded it again... You can still make out rhe silver popping through.
But ill test it with some scrap before I order some new wrap... Or just paint it.
For today I cleaned up my Honda...
Vacuumed the Z
Swapped the shift ****, and then swapped back on the shift **** I had just removed. I guess I should just make a new one.
