well well... i just got home from the track, everything went well. i bogged pretty bad off the first run, the 11.94 but i was happy with it. that was on a 125 shot. then i retarded the timing one more degree and upped the jets to 150 shot. the problem now is that at 7200 in 4th gear i am hitting 114-115. soooo on the second run i tried to shift early and hit the nitrous in 5th. didnt work out so well. i trapped 92 in the 1/8th on the second run so i can definently improve on my time and mph. the second run i actually kinda burnt my clutch a bit on the burnout, it started catching traction early and then i pushed in the clutch just a bit and changed my mind.... yeah i wont do that again!!

picked up 26 mph on the first run on the last 1/8th wooo hoooo

very happy tonight and i know those times can improve for sure!!!

1st ( forgot TCS on burnout, freaked me out and launched spinning 1st&2nd..
2nd run got a 14.5... not too bad but my launch could improve.. 2.2 60' and .610 r/t

hmmmmz... does this mean I need to up my goals for the drag strip with nitrous to high 11's? i mean i was gonna just go for low 12'z. another question, since your using the button why dont u just use a wide open throttle button instead? so much easier when your at the track to use.

 

Great times audible....pay attention ppl....spend $500-1000 on nitrous and run times just as fast (and today proven faster) than a single turbo set-up or supercharger. Man I love nitrous.

Old School I totaly disagree. While his 11.8 run is amazing for his set up. It has a lot more to do with his 60 ft skills than actual power. 115 mph is not close to the 120 mph the turbos can pull off.DEFIENTLY FAST BUT NOT TURBO FAST IMHO.

BUT THE 1.6 60 FT IS SIMPLY AMAZING IN MY EYES

I beleave Alberto will be close to 118 mph on his next track outing. Eighter way....This is defiently a good showing of what the 350Z can do with minimal $$$$.

hey c5s.... i will be trapping 118 if i can figure out how to get more (longer gearing or bigger tires) outta 4th gear, it is a big jump for these cars to get outta 4th gear, i hit 114-115 at rev limiter with my tires set up


i pretty much trapped 92 at the 1/8th and should pick up 26 in the last 1/8th

these runs were good times but not perfect runs.... much more room to improve, i know i could run 11.6 with my current setup!!

btw, it was 80 degrees outside with damn near 80-90 % humidity, if i was up north these times would have been much better... im in florida!!
