I've had this exact problem with both of my z's 06 and 07 ... i've had the slave cylinder replaced in both vehicles to no avail. The only thing that totally solved the issue was dropping a JWT clutch and flywheel into the 06 roadster. I'm still running factory clutch in my 07 and if I dump it it will stick to the floor. You CAN go to the drag strip you just need to learn how to feather your clutch out instead of dumping it. As far as I know there's no fix to the pedal sticking to the floor issue- the pedal does not release from the floor when you let off the throttle... how long have you had the car?

I have never heard of the master cylinder going back, hell besides the earlier 240sx's I have never heard of them going bad on any nissans. But slave cylinders go all the time.

Replacing the slave cylinder is not going to solve the problem of the clutch pedal sticking to the floor on hard launches.

YES. Just like brakes, etc. Considered normal wear and tear unless defective.

no... they'll cover the clutch if you are within your 12 month 12,000 mile period and something fails causing damage to your clutch. In my case... slave cylinder leaked all the fluid out and everything siezed together. Since the slave cylinder is a covered component and caused subsequent damage to the clutch it was replaced.

ah, well my 350z has 32,000 miles on it and its an 06. so im way past that warranty. i just wanted the mechanics at the dealership to look at it and tell me what is wrong exactly and then i can figure out what to do about it. since my clutch only sticks when i dump the clutch i wasnt going to tell the dealership that hahah. i just asked if my clutch was within warranty and it wasnt.

the dealership not do anything about it? your car should still be under warrenty. my warrenty expired...so now i gotta figure out what exactly is wrong with my clutch and figure out how to fix it.
