2003 Vq35De Vortech kit
Been looking at buying this, seems like a good kit just needs intercooler, piping and a few misc stuff.. just like any other FI build lol.
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/223591870055
Anyways my question... can my stock block vq handle give or take 400whp? Would an oil cooler help... what else can be done to aid the FI.
Thanks guy

not a bad setup and very capable of 400hp. Read up on other vortech builds on this forum and see what they have done and mimic that. AN inexpensive (CX Racing for $100 or up to a Treadstone for $400) intercooler and $100 worth of 6061 IC tube off ebay would suit you just fine.
$2500 seems steep for a used kit though. I'd offer him $2000 and let him talk you up to $2200. It might be worth $2500 - timrod kit, injectors, oil pan...judgement call on your end.
You'd be wise to rebuild the blower (or at least have it inspected no matter what the seller says concerning the rebuild) and the BOV before installation along with have the injectors cleaned/bench tested.
oil cooler, consider adding an inline oil filter if you want...
You'll spend a few hundred dollars on replacement hardware and misc stuff.
How are you going to tune this? I wouldnt use the split second box nor the added fuel pump. You'll want to spend $600 for Uprev at a minimum.

I'm thinking of selling the fuel injectors... using the split second box as well as inline fuel pump...
just buy intercooler piping as well as a mishimoto intercooler.
run a safe 340whp.

I would advise against the split second box and added fuel pump. Do it nice or do it twice - I would get a basic Uprev E-tune before I did the split second box & fuel pump. You're gonna invest a few thousand dollars into this equipment not to mention a good amount of time - dont skimp on the one thing that safe-guards your engine and brings everything together.
