Supposed to rain Saturday so I think my plans for the weekend is cancelled. As for Tuesday, who knows.

 

I assume they'll be displaying the "puppies" for beads. Get pictures.

I'm working. I stopped taking off for MG years ago. I grew up in the N.O. area and pretty much got burned out on it. Although, I wouldn't mind a trip back to the quarter one year just for fun.

 

yeah I know what you mean, this is my first in 4 years to do anything, honestly Im not a big fan of this holiday too many drunks acting stupid plus they barely get sent to jail

 

I suspect this year will be nothing like past years thanks to the Katrina effect. Who knows, you may be pleasantly surprised with smaller, less rowdy crowds.

 

Exactly why I was thinking about going but not tomorrow. 100% chance of rain. Maybe I'll get to work on the Z Sunday

 

Yeah your right Dave, thats one of the things thats making me go out this year, but also many out of towners will be there to witness there first mardi gras, dont know what to expect til it happens

 

I'm working also and usually have to work the Quarter or the parades every year so I'm really burnt out on all the drunks and traffic....................but I'll still look at the pictures!
