Lafayette, LA Members?
Hey folks
Just moved back to Lafayette after being away for 11 years. Still in culture shock! Anyway, I've seen at least two or three sweet looking Z's rolling around here and figured maybe some folks were online here.
Are there any regular meets here in south Louisiana? In DFW there were meets available every week for all cars, and Z meets at least once-per-month. If there's enough interest we should do something like that here. Get the LFT and BTR guys together for some car talk bs, etc.
Is State Capitol Dragway still open? Where do folks go to race around here these days? Autocross or anything else?

welcome back man... i am not too sure about the Lafayette crowd, but we have a somewhat healthy crowd here between BTR and New Orleans.. in fact, check out this thread, its here in the same "South Central" section... you will even see some pictures from the open invite meet we had..

we are spread out between Houma, BR, and New Orleans... a few of us got together in Donaldsonville, La last Saturday at No Problem Raceway http://www.noproblemraceway.com/ and did some drag racing.. and a few us also attended the SCCA autox run the same weekend.. keep tabs on them here http://www.delta-scca.org
come on over to the first thread listed here and join on in.. we are a bunch of idiots and like to have a good time... we are planning a Z BBQ on the 27th of this month. I know it's about a 3 hour drive... so thats up to you.

I grew up in Lafayette but I'm in Dallas (Plano) now. I come back several times a year to see family and stock up on food, maybe I'll roll down in the Z once and come hang out. I miss the food down there, and it seems like the women are of much better quality overall down there, good looking, know how to cook, very friendly and aren't gold diggers like up here. Not saying there aren't a ton of hotties, they just all seem to be stuck up and not really wife material for me. But i could be wrong i guess, i just hope it really is the way i perceive it.
