I have an opportunity to move to Knoxville or a couple other cities for my new job. So i'm just debating on which would be best. My other choices are Dayton, OH or Charlotte, NC.
So how do you guys like Knoxville? Is there a lot of stuff to do there? What are the pros/cons.
Any info would be helpful since i've never been there.

It mainly depends on your age, interest, and maybe even race to a degree. If you have a familyor maybe are starting one then Knoxville is a plus. If you want some of the best roads to drive in America, Knoxville is a plus. If you want a road course near by then depends on what you call close but nothing within 4 hours. If into good looking women, we have a major SEC in town you decide, Plus IMO. Night life well plenty of bars and of course the campus is again here but IMO not so good so I give it a minus. Climate is great. We had the top down in the ZR with am hour ago an mid 60 degree temp. If other questions just ask.

How far away are the Smokey Mountains and Deals Gap?
BTW it was 80 degrees down here today.
I'm gonna miss that.

Lol just came across this. Knoxville is a pretty good place to raise a family if thats what youre interested in. moms side of the family had quite a few guys in the FBI and fed agents are known to jockey to get a spot in the Knoxville FBI branch cause cost of living & low crime & stuff are good for fam life. girl wise...3 letters. UTK lol nuff said. takes me 45 minutes to get to the dragon and im 15 minutes north of downtown, making it further than most. from west knox its 30 minutes max.

Hello MaxToTheG37! I believe you posted on our website with a link to the picture of your G37 - sharp car. We do meet up and try to at least do 1 ride a month. Sunday's seem to be better for most of the group, but if it's pretty, we can normally get 3 or 4 out for a ride on short notice.
We went a ride this past Sunday for about 100 miles, a lot of backroads, didn't try the Dragon, but have heard it is clear. We had 4 on that ride, but it was thrown together late Saturday night. Two G35's join in when they can, we're not strickly Z's and G's - we invite everyone. Check the website again late on Saturday, it should be improved by then. Sunset350zr is normally on every ride. We'll post on here as well when we have enough lead time. - Tony.
