I just picked up my 04 Z at carmax in Turkey Creek. I saw a nice red one with wheels and exhaust at Kroger on Northshore. Exhaust sounded really good.

Anyone know of any good tint companies? My last tint experience landed in court (me being the plaintiff, lol), so I'm really iffy about where I get my tint done, lol.

 

Tint shop on Alcoa Hwy in 1st shopping center on Northbound side before you get to Hardees. I IMHO best in K-town. I have had 5+ cars done all with lifetime guarantee.

 

Well, it's not my daily driver so I don't get it out too much.

The shopping center sits in a hole past Hardees so its not level with the road. If you go by Hardess then past Martha Washington St. on your right, you have gone to far. This is of course driving into town. If leaving town and you pass the Pilot Gas Station and First Tennessee bank again you have gone to far.

 

Aight, i'm sure I can find it. Prolly have to wait till next paycheck though. Don't wanna miss my first car payment, lol.

I keep seeing nice Z's around this area. Saw a nice red one with exhaust on Northshore, then saw a real nice 06+ black one in gatlinburg last night. I guess Z's are kinda popular, lol. I come from a Lexus SC300, so when you see a nice modded one, its like, a big hoopla, lol.

 

04 Silverstone here in west k-town more than likely you'll see me around all the time, ive put 18k on this thing in a year haha just love to drive it around

and if you havn't gotten the windows done yet, Tint by Troy best ive ever seen ive had about 15 cars done by various places and this is the best job ive ever gotten nice guy too works out of his garage off bob gray rd, he's been tinting for 15+ years or so i think

Cool, nice to meet ya. (everyone for that matter, lol.) I'm in West Knoxville too. I work alot, but, on my days off, all I do is drive around, lol. Hell, payin enough for this extended waranty, might as well drive the hell out of it till I void it with the FI down the road, lol. You guys ever plan cruises or anything? I just went down to the Smokies yesterday and loved it. I'm from Chicago, so the mountains are a real change of pace from the.... flatness and corn I'm used to, lol. I prolly know a few of the chicago area JGTCA guys on here. Haven't found any of them yet, but I know I used to cruise with a few Z's up in Chicago. Anyways, lemme know if you guys ever plan a cruise or something.

can't wait to see you get the mod bug, ive got it BAD im ordering stuff every paycheck now trying to get ready for zdayz hopefully will have my vertex wing and the VS1 carbon front end by may dropping it next weekend too

 

Oh trust me, I'll get the mod bug soon enough, lol. My cars don't stay stock very long. It's funny though, the Z doesn't leave TOO much to be desired like my previous cars did. Maybe cuz I went from an 03 Expedition? Haha.

I started with an 01 Galant, and went completely show, blew the motor with nitrous, and did a full rebuild on the 6G72, but still was kinda on the ricey side. After the rebuild, it was decent looking, but still only about 170hp. (Pfft, I was 18, lol).



Next project was my 1JZGTE SC300 (2.5 TT soarer motor). Stock body, with all "go".... if 300 RWHP is considered "go" anymore.



I think finally with the Z, I can have the show and the go. Plus I'm real good friends with Charles (CJ-Motorsports). He's gonna make me go broke. I called and said "dude, I picked up a Z today" he says "You gotta f*ckin turbo that thing." Hahaha. Had it for all of 4 hours at that point.
