Actually yes Jeffy. The 400+ whp Cobalt SS and the GT88 tubo'd FD RX-7 coughed a lot of rubber onto Cantrell as they pulled out. These guys aren't just buying sports cars to impress girls.

Wow, really? That came with 300 bhp off the lot, its cheaper, it's factory FI. All he really he did was change the manifold, turbo upgrade, meth, etc. Sounds like he came out pretty good on the deal. Only drawback for me is that the car is FWD. But the girly thing? Really? Seems like the kid has a two door black sports car to me, just lime a couple other dudes I know.

I dont know about 300bhp. I saw a stock on get dynoed at a dyno competition and put down 200hp to the wheels on college park tuning's scale:

if you look past the blonde:

Im not hating but im not buying it either. As for the girl thing, my buddies babies momma drives one lol. Its not that im calling you out TJ, its just hard to believe 400hp out of a Colbalt SS.

I can't tell by looking at that car if it is a pre 08 car or not. The reason I say that is because pre 08 were supercharged and 08 post were turbo'd. Even if I'm wrong on the year model, the turbo cars were higher rated in HP. Also I said bhp, not whp. On average whp will be 20% less than bhp. Stock Z's don't hit their numbers either. God I'm afraid to know how low I am lol. But yeah I can believe he'd making that. There are tons of civics that make more on less motor.

car above appears to be an '06, although im not 100% sure. I know bhp means break horsepower, which basically means, what the motor itself puts out. You are right bhp is higher because hp is lost in the transfer of power to the wheels.

I asked someone in the crowd if the orange cobalt was supercharged (which I was under the impression that they all are) and I was told that it was turbocharged. Im not familiar with the capacity of power in that SS engine, but I wonder what their breaking point is? You would think since its beefed up from the factory they would have potential for more power out of a stock block?

Since you have the high rev, does your car put more power then the Vq35de?
