Yeah I don't know how to show that link a simpler way so there. I was wondering what you guys thought about this setup? They are the new oem bbk on the new sport 370z. 2k for the f and r whole set at a 14in rotor isn't bad at all! Any input/thoughts?

 

this kit (and special brackets) comes from the G37coupe last year, retrofitted to the G35.. hence the Z. Excellent value. was selling for $2k without the brackets, brackets were running almost $500.

as for performance, its safe to read any 09 G coupe review on track performance to get a good idea as to how they hold up to fade.

While there is alot less bling than Stoptech, they are a great choice. I'd choose this over Wilwood and Rotora. With these, in a pinch, you can get a set of pads or rotors at the dealer. That actually a pretty big deal with some aftermarket setups, finding pads and rotors can be a hassle. So these are ideal.

Make sure your wheels have backspacing for them. I think I read they need more space than brembos.

 

Hrmmm.... Good to know! The thread I read about them here said that there were no pads or rotors available yet for these other than the ones that came with it. If I'm wrong, which I hope I am on this, please correct me because these seem a great deal and some better pads, rotors and ss lines would be great with this set. The thread said that these were being tested on the z on track in about a week or so and results would be posted after. I'll have to check on the 09 G rating on the brakes too. Thanks Tim!

Honestly, for quality and daily driveability, this is the kit to get. That you found is the best I've seen..

 

Wow. Good read for sure. The only thing on install that gets me is the slight modding/grinding you would have to do to make them totally flush. I wouldn't know how to do that or to explain that point to an auto guy to do the brakes if I got them. They seem a great value. I wish there were other rotors you could get with them though.

Could you just get the Stoptech ss lines for this kit and the Motul 600 fluid? Would the Stoptech lines conflict with this kit? I don't think it would considering they are a factory kit but was just wanting to make sure.

Also with pad selection: How would you search for pads? As a G37 pad selection? A 370 pad selection? Still a little lost on that one.

Oh, I love the powercoated orange calipers! Would love to do that if I got them!
