I spent 16 years growing up in Lafayette, does that count?

Michael.

Hey! I'm from Lafayette. Live in Texas now but with an ill Mom, I've been in and out of my hometown averaging a week every three. Next trip - next month!

Nice meeting ya'll ... do you miss the food? LOL

Wow, small world! A co-worker of mine is also from Lafayette. Turns out that he went to St. Thomas Moore HS w/ my neighbor when I lived there. Then, I have a neighbor down the street from me that's also from Lafayette (and went to St. Thomas Moore HS as well). Turns out his wife is best friends w/ the sister/brother twins I grew up w/.

Well, I was in Lake Charles last week not far from Lafayette and there was a DB in the parking lot of the facility I went to visit EADS, didn't get to talk to the guy and the only other one was at the dealer which was a white one.

Well I saw two other SBs, a CS and my first Redline not on a new car lot while I was there. But no one acknowledged me. So I guess they weren't from the forums.

Keven and Michael, how old are you guys?
If you're around 27 (my age) I probably know you or at least someone you know. Maybe I dated your sister or daughter

What HS did you go to (assuming you're from the area as well)?

LOL!! Um, let's see ... how do I say this "delicately" ... I don't: I'm 42. Ouch!! Actually, my Z was my birthday present from my husband so I'm glad I had another birthday.

I don't have any sisters ... nor daughters so I think we're off on a good start, Will.

My parents still live in Lafayette and I frequent the area about monthly as of late. I'm the DB Z with the Texas plates that read "Keven". Parents live off West Bayou Parkway so that's my mainstay area. Really nice to cruise West Bayou since they repaved it a few weeks ago - just take your ValentineOne.

Very nice meeting all ... hope to run into you face to face on the road one day.

I went to Lafayete High and graduated in 94.
Went to USL for a couple years, quit and moved to Houston.

W. Bayou Parkway is very nice for a Lafayette road now. There are also a couple of hills (I know, I couldn't believe it either!!) around Carencro that make for some fun drives.

LHS Lion eh? I would have been a class of 93 CHS Spartan, but moved to Plano my senior year.

I was in Lake Charles all last week for Business meetings, and didn't see a single other Z. I can understand why though, the roads there are so rough, I guess it wouldn't be so bad on 17's. I did however see 2 rx-8's at the local mazda dealer though.

I saw an RX-8 on the road a couple of times (same one cruising around like me) in Lafayette.
Wasn't impressed by its power, but it looked so much better than I thought it would.
It was a silverstone type color and it blew away the red and yellow prototypes Mazda was sporting the last couple of years.

WOW, someone else other than myself went to Lake Charles, man that place is comical, how did you like the airport, all one gate of it. The rush hour traffic was great though
