Oklahoma Z's!
Glad to see this thread is still alive after the birth of the Facebook group.
You Tulsa guys don't really need to get "organized" just link up with the rest of us on facebook and we can chat there. Organize Tulsa and OKC meets. That way one group isn't always putting miles on their car going back and forth.
It'll be nice to see some other bright colors other than our usual blacks, silvers, etc. haha

I'm pretty sure I've seen your car around actually. Didn't you recently replace your carbon fiber rear hatch because the wind grabbed it and put some stress cracks in it? I really was thinking about seeing that in person to see how bad it really was, but I figure it's sold by now. If that wasn't you... then don't mind me.
And sure... we'll let it count.
You'd only really need the 06+ headlights and the 07+ motor/tranny and you'd be a full-blooded HR... your almost halfway there!

Haha yessir, just got a New CF trunk, A-pillars, And Roof
lol
Yea that damage wasnt bad at at all, if insurance hadnt given me soo much money i would have reused it lol! But i have a pending sale on it right now..
Man i wish i had an HR motor and headlights

That's cool. I figured that'd be the case. Who'd you go with on your roof? I'm compiling a list of parts I'm thinking about going with when I do my silver-parts to black/carbon fiber-parts conversion some day (not in the near future). I've seen only one in person (on a chicks 07+ Nismo), and it looked really good... but I didn't want to be creepin' too much so I didn't get to ask her anything about it or check it out in serious detail.
Hey! Mine's not a mono-tone!

Just some rolling "for fun" stuff, and some pics out at the car wash before it got crazy busy. I've got stuff that pays me money to work on as priority... but here's some teasers till I can get the rest knocked out a little later today hopefully.

New(ish) to the oklahoma area. I've been in lawton since december but just now getting around here to regional forum. I've had a lot going on and haven't really been into my car as much lately. I've got a black 06 gt that I've had since 07.
What's this facebook group you guys speak of?

What is the name of the facebook group? I had prior plans so I didn't go to the meet but now that I finally have free time I am going to join the Z club out. I do enough with my jeep so why not with the Z.
Let's hope this works...
To those of you that are inquiring about the "Facebook Group". OCIDE (our car group... standing for Oklahoma's Collective of Import and Domestic Enthusiasts) can be found by going to HERE.
After you've gone there, you should check around the upper right (I think) for a "request to join" button somewhere. Click that. You can then send me a message here (PM) directly and I can add you, or, if I add you anyway, please introduce yourself, what you drive, that kind of thing.
We do have a "No Douche" policy on there. Also, unless there's some kind of special circumstance... your approval will be on a "trial" basis. We need to get to know you and you have to come out and meet some of us so someone can vouch for you! After all... forums (like My350z.com) are great and all... but our Facebook group is for a collective of people who have met and know one another! Then, if you wish to stay, you're welcome to join said group on a permanent basis. Stay cool, be helpful, and come out to a meet with us sometime and we're all good.
