What is happening is from a stop..rolling from first to second as soon as it shifts the rear end locks up for a split second and chirps tire it almost feels like I'm getting rear ended the way it jerks..it does it from first to second..and from third to second. Its an auto trans. I had the same problem with a camaro I had and changed the cats and it was fine. But it never chirped or jumped as bad. That's why I'm not sure

My very first suggestion is check and make sure you're full up on fluid. Car level, running, and give her a check. If she's too full or too low, she'll do something similar to what you're describing.

I did that a week ago. Fluid level is fine..fluid doesn't seem burnt or thin or anything..its an 03 with 96500 miles..I've never had the trans or rear diff serviced..that was going to be my next try
Lol what wheels do you have in mind? I'm leaning toward the work vs-xx
Man I love those wheels! If I can find a great deal on those I'd be set! I may get some cheaper wheels to begin with and wait until I find the right deal to jump on some nice ones. Being a college student is no fun.
