Hi my name is Martin....I'm a Z owner as well as my gf. Just picked up matching black ones you could say lol. I have an 04 enthusiast with custom exhaust and intake, 20" chrome wheels...which i'm selling if someone wants them, and she has an 03 blk enthusiast with a turbonetics turbo kit, volk gtc's, veilside lip kit, some other stuff. How is the community here with Z's? I used to be involved with the SRT-4, nismokc, and rx8 groups and love going to get together except we missed the Z meet in October =(

 

The "Z" community is pretty decent here. You've got the OKZ club (usually consists of older Datsun and Nissan z's) mostly. The next closest thing to a "Z" club is going to be OCIDE (of which I'm a member). We are not specifically a Z or G club... but I'd say the majority of our members run 350z's, 370z's, G35's, or G37's. We get together pretty much every Saturday for some form of shenanigans. As an example, last weekend we hit up the Sheriff's Track in OKC on Saturday morning with the BMW club (first time with them, and probably our last), then we hit up a movie, then swung by to hang out with the Nismokc guys that evening.

Anyway... if you and your gf are interested in coming out sometime... just hit me up!

first speeding ticket in my Z! Did it going like 75 in a 45mph last saturday night trying to get a better look at this 370z nismo....i didn't notice that I was going that fast till it was too late because he paced his distance ahead of me....oh dang

Anyone else hear about friction motorsports holding a drifting event at crossroads mall on march 18th? I got a thing of Facebook about it. I'll be going for sure.

 

Sure. I know Gary (owner of Friction Motorsports). Hadn't seen that yet on Facebook... but that sounds like it'll be fun. I'll probably see if I can't get out there and bring as many OCIDE people as I can.

 

Yeah I've met him a couple of times at the nismokc meet and greets. This will be my frist attempt at trying to drift since i've just been used to drag. Now im on the lookout for spare 350z wheels that I can abuse for cheap.
