I may be there... the Porsche club is having a track day at the OKC Sheriff's track... me and several of the OCIDE members will be there racing and/or watching. Depending on when it gets out, I/we may swing by there for a bit.

New owner in OKC. 08 Touring 6MT Carbon Silver Metallic. 42k miles. Never knew so many Z drivers from OK were on this forum. Any good shops here in OKC to get spoilers installed? I'm mostly interested in the stock rear spoilers. Still new to the city and new to the Z.

Yea I've looked into that. Found several online, but some are just held on by 3M tape, which I want it bolted on. I'm going to check with some Nissan body shops here in OKC to see if they have any I can look at or at least set me up with the right parts. I'm assuming the hatch release controls are easily avoided when installing yourself?

The release controls? They're all in the rear and bumper section... not on the hatch. So you installing a spoiler shouldn't effect that at all. Which spoiler are you wanting to install? The non-Nismo style don't need holes... they install via tape and work just fine. The Nismo style, I think, need holes drilled.

For those of you that are interested in testing out your skills on an actual track to go as fast as you want, learn driving techniques, and not worry about tickets... the Porsche club is putting on an open track day this Sunday (as long as weather permits... they don't race in the rain) at the OKC Sheriff's track. Starts at 10am (sharp! The drivers meeting is mandatory). You need a helmet and $30... and yes, a motorcycle helmet counts. Oh... and don't wear flip-flops... duh. I should be there. I'll be around the red 350z GT with a splitter. Name's Ryan.

Oh... and the parade lap (not fast) and watching is totally free if you want to come check it out whenever that day while it's going on.

Are the OEM spoilers held on by tape also? Seems like after some time the elements will eventually break down the adhesive and it will just fly off going down the highway.

I think i posted in here a year or so ago i dont know, just updating.

Sold my Boosted performance kit + goodies, 2jzgte swap in progress down here in Altus, here's a few pics:

how the car sat before it went down for the swap (used to be lower/stanced..but eff that noise):

Here's how the car sits right now:

Here's the 2jz going in (no where near done):

Couple pics of the powerplant that came in last week... precision 6766 dbb 1.15 a/r hotside, ported coldside housing:

Also this thread reminded me, anyone ever get e85 from clinton, ok? thats the closest place to me and a bud of mine is down to roll up routinely to fill up several 30 gallon tanks. let me know! Thanks

Also if anyone is ever in altus just shoot me a pm on here if you want to check out the swap.
