Default Good shops in ATL

Hey I'm new to the community. I work with fiberglass (once i get my shop up and running) Anyway, I am pretty good with car audio but I don't know ANYTHING about that crap under the hood (except the battery maybe).

I'm looking for a shop that can do two things:

1. to put on a CAI and exhaust on my Z

2. to help me with a center drive (one seater) conversion on a Mitsu Eclipse.... basically helping me relocate the pedals and steering to the center of the car. Yeah it's weird but whatever.

So if you know anyone let me know.

Well welcome, a search would have helped you out

CAI you can do on your own, DIY threads can be found.

Center drive, really?

Not everyone feels that way, and exhaust can be installed by anybody.

The custom work he requires would be very time consuming along with being expensive.

A shop with alot of custom modification experience would be needed for such a job.

Cai and exhaust you can do your self. For custom work i say go to CP raing in Charlotte.

Clarification.
Z1 Motorsports is a candidate shop for CAI and exhaust installation.
Agreed that both can be DIY projects.

thanks... Any other shops? Or have any contact info on CP racing? I'll call or email them and see if they can/would do what I need.

Yeah the center drive project is pretty cool. I'm sure you've seen some of Alpine's demo cars so you know those can turn out to be real showstoppers when they're done. It's a 03 Eclipse we're doing it in. The fiberglass and electrical we can handle but a lot of the custom bracketing and mechanical (like moving the steering column and pedals and relocating the shifter and ebrake) we want to leave to a pro who's got the tools and knowledge to make something that would work as well as it looks.

Just PM Sharif@Forged (member here and sponsor), he will give you all the info and set you up if needed.

Cp racing, but another shop to consider is batlground tuning. http://www.batlground.com/

They do a lot with evos, so I am sure they know what to with an eclipse. I have a friend who has a 800 awhp eclipse, who swears by them.

ok I emailed batlground tuning. We'll see what they say. I'm in no rush so if I'm on a waiting list that's no big deal. Actually it's probably better since this will probably cost a couple grand to do.

One of my friend's Evo was done by batlground tuning and it's been nothing but problems, One time he had to leave it in the shop for 3 month. Hope everything goes good.
