I'm trying to see if I can get 20 350Z together for a full day of tearing up some corners and hanging out at a road course.The track is a test track/road course in Gainesville Fl. if anyone is interested you'll see some helpful info I was able to get today while I was on the phone with the track rental office.The more people that get involved the cheaper it is for each of us(up to 20 cars total)

It is $2000.00 full day up to 20 cars which includes EMT and insurance.The facility requires that we make a $250 deposit then we will get a track layout so that we can setup the track how we would like it, also forms to sign.They would need full payment of the remainder($1750) 2 weeks prior to the scheduled event date.This is for a Saturday rental,looking to make this happen on a Sat. in June maybe sooner.

Jeremy I'm so glad to here there is at least one local 350z owner interested in renting a track like this for a day.Although I'm not set on just paying $100.00 we would need to obtain I would say 10 atleast so we do not have to spend over $200.00ea.I just have to make positive there is not tax added on this quote of $2000.00.Do you think you can get some guy's interested over that way?I'm getting ready to open it up to all kinds of cars since it does not appear were going to get local 350z people interested.If we can get 10-15 cars I will put down the deposit set the date (June most likley)and get the track layout so we can choose how we would like the course set up.Some forms to sign,pay the full $2000.00 2 weeks in advance, and port-o-pottys put where we would like and were there of course each person would need a Helmet Snell '95 or newer.It is really easy to make this happen we just need more cars.Jeremy I'll get ahold of you a little later my cell is 321-544-2457 just incase you want to ask me something.Jeremy I have a incar vid of my friend on this track they had it setup pretty tight but it will give people an idea it is one lap I will send you the vid if you get me your email and if you have a way to post it up here that would be great.

Heck yes you can come I figured alot of 350z guy's would jump at something like this,but guess not.If you can find more guy's wanting to do this that would be great.I just want to get out and do some driving on a track with some cool guy's to hang with.I'll add you to the interested list.I'm going to talk to some 240sx guy's and possibly SRT4 guy's.

i was interested in that but i saw 3 2 lap timed runs and was thinking its worth the 50 bux but very little track time.check it out though Jeremy!

Today I learned that the $2000.00 includes the tax as well.
Talked to a buddy of mine with a C5 he is ready to do this and he is going to talk to his brother as well with another Vette geez theres going to be more Vettes than 350Z.

 

I have a group on the RX-8 Club Southeast forum and we do this every once in a while. We've rented out Talladega Grand Prix Raceway before and are doing Road Atlanta this coming weekend. We love this kind of stuff. For $100-200 bucks for the full day and lots of track time (sessions totalling up to >2 hours), hell yeah, I'm sure I could get several people to do it. What weekend are you thinking about? How many people? You should post in the RX-8 Club (www.rx8club.com) Southeast section about it. I'm sure you'll get some interest there.

 

eric, there will be a few G35 guys that have answered me, i think i will meet up with you in a week or two and give you the deposit money so we can get a date, im sure we will be turning people down soon


looks like a great turnout but we will probably need to limit it to 20 max...


most people need a certain date though so we can take care of that soon...

 

If we have 10+ cars already I will call and get the dates available up to the end of June.Now I talked to them today and they are swamped with the Gatornationals so Nita was not available to talk.But I'm ready to get the Saturdays they have available and we can all pick the one that works best for all of us.I'm ready to make a deposit.Jeremy did you see I have added 1 more vette guy to the list and his brother might bring his vette to.So on my list I have 5-6 cars.How many guy's did you get involved already?
