Does anyone know of a shop in the Orlando area that can tune a 350Z with a Vortech? The Vortech was originally installed and tuned at CPRacing up in North Carolina. They did a great job but I want to change out the exhaust and don't want to drive all the way up there to do it. Just curious if anyone's used someone around here and what kind of numbers they put up.

Swapping out an exhaust is not difficult.

If you want i'll install yours for $50. What exhaust is it?

 

I don't have an exhaust yet, I just saw someone in Orlando selling a Borla TD for a good price and its something I've been meaning to do for awhile. I might take you up on that offer if I do get it.

i havent taken my car in for turbo work, but racing zone took care of me a few times with other things. excellent customer service, and they really know their stuff.

CFT (central florida turbo) has an awsome reputation. they experience with a lot of hondas and integras, but so many people swear by them.

just give them both a call and i'm sure they can answer all of your questions.

 

I've heard some pretty bad horror stories about CFT so I would definately research that place before going there. I actually live down the street from them and I really wasn't impressed with the place.

Why not give Next Level Performance in Altamonte Springs a try? PM madboost/Tom Porter on this forum as he works there. Tell him Ian Burias from the Florida G35 Club sent you. For some proof of their work pm cj350 as he had his vortech installed and tuned there.

 

really? wow all i ever heard was good stuff. hmmm. like i said i've never personally experienced with them, being that i dont have turbo.

Leave CFT for what they're good at. Tuning cars. They don't install parts..

I wouldn't go to CFT, ever. I installed and tuned my own Vortech. Exhaust is easy. The shop with the most experience with a Vortech on a Z is Next Level Performance. They did cj350's install and I think he's got about 370 on a 5AT. They've done many others as well. BTW, your not gonna get the inflated dyno #'s like up in NC so don't set your sights to high
RZ Motoring cannot tune as they don't have a dyno. All there good for is parts and wheels, maybe a spring install.

 

+1....I would never take my car to CFT. I would very highly recommend Next Level Performance.
