If I did it again, I would use regular painters tape (not the kind for delicate surfaces.) The delicate kind like I put on was not sticking as good as I would like while driving... I thought the delicate would not leave adhesive behind, so that's what I got. But in retrospect, if both kinds will leave adhesive behind, you may as well get the one that sticks better!

The guys that run SCCA, SAFE, Chin etc use a 3m film that you just lay across your car (kind of like saran (Spelling?) wrap, it's used to cover food dishes) anyway, I can't seem to get anyone to give me a name for it.

Either way, it's a cheap alternative to the 3m film that I have been trying to piece together on my own Z. I need to call Ryan and get my damn lights and mirrors done already.

It took 2-3 hours to do, and about half an hour to rip it all off. Scrubbing all the adhesive off took a couple hours...

Probably would have been faster to just clean the bugs off after every drive like I have been doing. It sure looked cool though!

Ryan at Auto Paint Guard? He did my clear bra. I'd highly recommend him to anyone interested in a clear bra.

I want the saran wrap stuff! lol

3M has never left any residue behind for me. that's what i always use for auto-x numbers without any problems.
