Talking Lovebug season (Florida)

As many of you know, it is now Lovebug season in Florida. Up until now I have been scrubbing them off my Z after every drive. Now it is war!

The lovebugs should be scared, because I won't be dodging them anymore! I will be HUNTING them down!

lol!!!!

A thick coat of Turtle Wax Hard Shell will fix the problem. And keep a microfibre towel and Quick detailer in the trunk.

that's pretty awesome! i'm gonna have to consider doing that when i have to drive back up to gville. the ride down was rediculous... by the time i got home i could barely see out of the windsheild, even after cleaning the bugs off half way down.

It is painters tape for delicate surfaces made by Duck tape. That's why it's purple. But I figured I could get away with purple since I'm a chica!

Bad news guys - it DOES leave behind adhesive! I realized that this morning and ripped it all off my car. I have been scrubbing it for hours now to get the stickiness off. I found that Stoner window cleaner works well.

Purple? Because I'm a girl. It took almost 2 rolls to do it.

I DO have a clear bra under all that tape. I have a Venture Shield Clear Brar, but the lovebugs are so acidic that they eat into it almost instantly (and permanently!) I even contacted the manufacturer about it, and they have no idea how to get the marks out.

I ordered a Colgan Custom bra to use during bug season, but there was a delay so I won't have it for a couple weeks. So painters tape was my solution.
