well now it looks like ill be moving to FL.....east orlando or titusville, cocoa beach area.

Is there any local drift and autoX events nearby?

i do all my work on my car and need to have my own garage space? do apts there have garages??
Ive found that there are a lot of places with just car ports???? crazy?


I will be in FL, orlando, titusville, area this week WED and THUR for a site visit at my new job... ill be running around town on wed like a crazy person looking at the rental market...ive found a bunch of condo's and duplex's in that area in my price range?

I lived near cocoa beach for a while lots of titty bars and bars and more bars, I'm sure there are some tracks out there somewhere, hell there is always the Daytona 500 not too far away lol

 

darn....im looking more for drift and autoX events i can enter with my car...im pretty much getting big into that scene over here in texas and would like to continue racing when i move? i would figure somewhere in FL there would be some SCCA or something?

im in seattle right now for work on travel.....but when i get back home im gonna more than likely start packing....

They have drift events @ Orlando Speedworld every once in awhile

 

drift events at Desoto speedway down in Bradenton FL....only like 1.5-2hr drive from orlando.......

they have event on the 16th of sept

also drive up sept 14-16 for nopi in atl.....

also chin motorsports runs a couple of HPDE even all over FL.

are there any web sites for these events....local club sites or something like that for those that host the events?

in texas the web site dailydrifter.com was pretty much the people who put on all the texas events......anything like that around here i can join up too..

Theres drifting events every onces in a while in Orlando speedworld. Its more of a practice event on a figure 8 course.

 

UPDATE:

HI guys, what colleges or universities are near titusville? or on the east side of ORLANDO? anything within driving distance to titusville????

University of Central Florida (UCF) is about 30-45 minutes drive time from Titusville. Brevard Community College is down the road from Titusville.

Maybe you can hook up with the OZOC guys in Orlando sometime.

I don't know anyone that lives in Titusville that could give pointers for apartments.

Where are you going to be working? Some people live in Melbourne or East Orlando and drive to Titusville for work. There is much more going on in Orlando than Titusville.
