Anyone got an inside camera mount for the Z they are bringing? I've got a cam on loan from a friend but wont have my mount in time.

 

I can hardly bare not being there. It super sucks. Just hard times. Getting a lot better everyday.

Hey guys just thought i would let everyone know it looks like it is going to rain thursday so remember bring warm cloths and rain tires/street tires. I assuming it is going to be starting at 8 so try and get there early so we can get tech inspection done.

 

We're meeting at Chick-Fil-A at Thorton Road at 7, which will probably put us at the track around 8:30. Are you going to just meet us at the track?

Hey brian sorry my phone is not good at letting me know ive miss calls. Im not running guys i have no money for tires so if someone want to let me borrow some im down. Im staying in carrollton so i may just meet you guys there or ill just see you on the way. IF anyone has a few track days under their belts i know brian does and maybe a few others have please find me i will need help organizing the track stuff. Im not stepping on anyones toes i hope by suggesting this if someone eles wants to run the whole thing thats cool, im just kinda takin charge because im unsure as of yet. But dont forget tools someone and helmets bring extra if you have them any questions feel free to ask guys. Thanks again for gettin all this stuff organized.

 

Yep, we can rotate the mount and camera around. Only limitation is its a borrowed camera so no exterior shots... unlikely it would come off but its not mine and don't want to pay for it if we break it. The battery is only good for about an hour and a half but I'm going to see if I can find a cigarette lighter power adapter at Fry's tomorrow. Any vid/pics we capture I can cut up and stick out on a server for download as I've got a ftp/file server out in CA a friend lets me use.

BTW - mount showed up this morning at 9:30. Paul @ Flimtools FTW.

Hey DK, you know if this is rain or shine or are they rescheduling those days? In the past when I've been to TGP it was a reschedule if it rained but not sure if they changed the policy.

 

Yeah if it rains I am going to be a little worried about getting on the track some already know about me and the rain it doesnt work out lol

 

Rain or shine guys. Either way it will be fun as hell. It doesn't look like it will rain the first half of the day. No need to be apprehensive about a wet track, a little sliding around just adds to the fun...there is plenty of run-off.

Did everyone get the email I sent about meeting at the Thorton Road Chick-Fil-A at 7AM ET and heading to the track from there?

Also, please remember to bring helmets, drinks, snacks, and any tools you may need.
