So i just took my car to nissan of coral spring..what a bunch of crooks!!!
First they hit me with almost $550.oo bucks to change out a 150.00throttle body!!.i tell the guy to check my ac belt bc it was making noise. The next day i went and got my car and started driving an hr later the car shut off in the middle of the road. When i look under the hood, what do i see, my alternator pulley is setting on the floor and the belt is in one piece.so i paid a $100. to tow it back to coral springs. Bringing the total up to$650.00 dollars and no running car. SO 3 days later i get a call and they said it was my fault because i use after market belts...f**k you i said..then they say well we can fix your mistake for 400.oo...i never ever met a bunch of low lives. The funny thing is i called them today and told them to park the car on the outside of the gates that i would be picking the car up. He said but we havent fixed it and i said i know and you wont ever see my car again. Bottom line is that since i got here ive posted a few time looking for help.. and for the first time in two yrs of being a member and posting, i didn't get a single response. If there any legit people who might tell me a real mechanic and not some *** then please pm me..thanks for anybody who read about me b*tch**g

the thing about it is that..i just moved back and been working and havent had a chance to find a real shop..there all a bunch of d**ks..thanks. the bad thing about any mechanic is that you always have your hands tied and cant do **** but try and play with your car. I had so many civics and playing around on those is like legos. But to be honest i dont want to mess with my car without knowing how to fix or work it. Honestly i plan on starting to work on it more and getting familiar so i can say done when i want it
Dealers are good only to go to, if your vehicle is still under warranty. But after that, they'll take your arm and leg. They work by commission, more work, more money for them.
They are suppose to give you a written estimate before a work is done, and they will never do anything unless you signed and approved the work to be done. $400.00 to replace the belt? What else was replaced or done?
Don't ever go to the dealer if you don't know anything about your car's engine man. They will give you all the BS and scare you.

lol..thanks alot..so you will love this. My dad tells me,"hey my friends has this mechanic that will come to your car where ever it is and fix it right there and then"...lightbulb. So i call this guy up and tell him hey my car is at nissan in coral springs and i just need a pulley put on ..everything you need is there. So the guy calls me and says," ok dude your car is runnig come by. So my dad ended up going to nissan and picking up the car from there and drove it home for me while working. If i was to pay 400. bucks for anything right now, it would of been to see the faces of the people over there..thanks alot guys. When i get some money together, ill head over to japtrix and try them out. Also i have a hook up on parts and wheels. My brother in atlanta runs a shop and gets aftermarket parts and whels. When we all meeting up again?
