I have some springs i need installed and was wondering if anyone could recommend anyone in the Raleigh area?

Phantasm.....if you want to take a second mortage out. dont like them at all but there really arent a lot of options. any mechanics place that does suspension work can do it, places like midas or 'we do everything' shops

 

Thanks. Yeah Phantasm quoted me 5 hrs of labor and then another hr for the alignment. I thought the alignment was weird because we all know that springs settle after a few weeks and THEN the alignment is needed-not right after the install. They (phantasm) sound pretty ignorant and overpriced. You're right, i'll check midas or meineke. Its just a spring install.

 

DO NOT take it to Phatasm. I have had bad experiences with them. Had them do a motor swap and the broke my clear cam gear cover, lost half of my aluminum undertray and curbed three of my wheels!

Springs are easy, just take it anywhere. I use to work at a Tire Kingdom and we did springs there. As long as they have a spring compressor they can do it. Call around.

They have a tech guy there that specializes in suspension setups, he is gonna be handling my stance coilover install sometime soon....he is extremely loose with labor costs..really cool/chill guys..

 

hey guys. Damien from DZiRT motoring here (the suspension guy)... did the spring install on this Altima a week or two ago. Quoted him 3hrs for $150... he came in and 3hrs later he was sitting low and only paid $150. seemed like a very satisfied customer.

we are mainly working on 240s around here (which we love) but I would love to see some more 350s!

i've done my own spring install long time ago , did two coilover installs on my car later and helped numerous of friends with their Zs. I'm very **** so i do things correctly without scratching anything, even lug nuts.

 

Been looking for a local place to check out, finally found one close enough in DZiRT

Hopefully headed that way soon for some coilovers
