Wanted: Ft. Lauderdale, FL Convertible Z for lighted windscreen
Looking for someone in the Coral Springs area (near Ft. Lauderdale) who would be interested in helping me out on a lighted windscreen project. In return for allowing me to CAREFULLY remove your roll hoop cover (and put it back on) and document it with pics, you'll get a fat discount on your own lighted windscreen kit. If you'd like, I'll even install it for you.
I'm working on a DIY kit for the Z similar to what I designed for the S2000, as seen in this animated GIF...
The design for the S entailed sending the windscreen mechanism to me for modification, but the Z doesn't allow that. So, I want to design the kit appropriately and make a full set of install instructions.
I would prefer if you contacted me directly through email instead of the board since I don't yet surf the Z board very often. MacGyverS2000!@ netscape.net (remove the !).
Thanks,
/\/\ac

Thanks west...
I'm making good progress on the code for the footwell lights. Since the same controller will be used for the windscreen with only slightly modified code, I'm a reasonably happy camper right now. It's been a real PITA with all of the late nights, lack of sleep, etc., but I think the finished product will make it all worthwhile
