Carrabelle Speed Festival October 22nd, 2011!!

WannaGOFAST.com is proud to present our second event of 2011 at the Carrabelle-Thompson airport in Carrabelle, FL. The Carrabelle Speed Festival is well.....all about SPEED! Test your vehicle and driving skills on an open runway. We will be doing standing HALF MILE races all day long!! The best part is that we are allowing head to head competition instead of solo runs like other airstrip events. The theme will be classic grudge match style racing from a roll or a dig! Hit speeds you only dreamed about on a ¼ mile track in a fun and safe environment!

Come join us for what is sure to be an exciting day of speed and entertainment! We will have a live DJ spinning tracks all day long and food provided from the Pit Stop Grill!

Looks like Alex and Marshall were there (NSX and burnt orange vette). What was the run down in speed across the cars (did you rank place each car based on who beat who)?

 

Didn't rank or place anyone but the highest speed of the day was 177 in an 04 Cobra Twin Turbo. Couple Supra's in the 170's as well. Alex and Marshall were definitely holding their own that day. Besides the crazy 800-1300whp stuff they were some of the quickest cars of the day against other competitors.

 

This would be fun to go to. May have to make some arrangements and get the new set-up down there

 

abushong504 we'd love to have you come down the more the merrier! I think you'd fair pretty well against the competition! We had a pretty good gathering or Z/G guys at our last event in July.

 

Would be sick to see a fast Z33 go down the strip.
