A nice finishing touch to 2004 seeing the wide varitety of auto racing nuts (even a Ford Escape). Really crowded that day, as evidence by Wayne's pics (follow the link); awesome shots!!!

Gary: Had them books with me, on the off-change that you'd be there. I will have them with me at our next outing.

Wishing everyone a Happy and prosperous New Year!

Don...

We are back in socal now. It was cool meeting some of you. We got to go out in the Vipers because the Z's didnt wanna go out anymore. Next time we will show up earlier, or just bring our own cars.

Holy crap was it crowded that day. It was cool to see all the different cars, but the great span of performance in cars and drivers seemed to make a lot of passing and spin outs. I’m somewhat glad that I wasn’t able to go around the track because I would have worried too much about trading paint or leading a “parade” around the track.

Thanks to Don and Craig for the rides. It was good to talk to you guys too.

I also got to ride in a Viper, the light blue one. That was pretty sweet.

Ghostkilla, what time were you there? I don’t’ believe I saw you there. I left about noon.

David,
Those are my sentiments also. I think I spent as much time looking on the mirror as I did looking out the windshield. The guy in the Mustang really freaked me out when he dove inside at the house turn. That was the thing that probably ended my day. At least there will be no more free days so any time spent there should be less crowded, more sane.
Ghostkilla , it was great to meet you guys and I hope to see you again in the summer. Should be a better day and the rides will be more plentiful. Hope you guys have your Z's with you next time. A ride is nice but the drive is better.

D'oh! Sorry I missed out...I'll grab those next time, if possible.

Sounds like it was a busy track at SCR that day. The upside of experiencing that is that no ZCCC track session will ever seem crowded again!
