Default Bugatti Veryon in Colorado

So I was lucky enough to see this monster driving down Kipling. It was really sweet seeing a car the local roads that costs as much as the sum of all the cars around it and probably a couple houses too. I wish I could have taken a picture, but I just got a quick glance at it anyway. It's kind of a bif weird looking car. Later when I was looking up some stats on it I came across this:

Well, I'm sure no one cares, but I thought it was cool. Also to alert you guys to keep an eye out for it. If you see it and line up with it at a light, try and race it up to 250 mph.

It's always cool to see exotic cars on the street. The Bugatti is rare (kinda weird too)and I bet the owner doesn't take it out much. Can you imagine what you'd do with the money that car went for? I can!!!

Nice! Apparently, they're up here doing altitude testing. Here's a post from the Audi guys with some pics:

Man. High altitude testing a 1000hp road car. Another job my stupid high school career counselor failed to inform me about.

I was just going to say the same thing. A buddy of mine ran in to them eating lunch a local fast food place and was asking about it and they told him to about the altitude testing.

LOL!!!

Apparently, VW's North American altitude testing center is somewhere in Lakewood. Maybe you could put in an application.

There are often exotics driving on I-25 between Belleview and County Line. I would have loved to see the Veyron though! That is one awesome car.

By the way, it's 1001hp, not 1000. Bugatti would be pissed if people don't realize that!

Yeah, this summer I've seen a hand full of Lambos, a F40, a Porshe GT, and the Veryon. Oh, and a few 350z's.

In school, a classmate had his intern at the Ford High Altitude testing facility. I guess it's a little north of Denver.

Yeah, but I figured it had to lose that extra 1 hp from the altitude
I have only seen a couple of Ford GT's, nothing really exotic unfortunately.

County Line often has Ferraris driving between the the Ferrari/Bentley dealership and the Park Meadows mall over the weekend.

My fiance lives right across from the dealership and last month I saw a semi truck (with covered trailer, not the open auto transport kind) pull up, LOADED with Ferraris, double-stacked. ALL were red and nearly ALL were the new F430s. I think that must have been the very first F430 delivery the dealership received. I was smiling thinking about the 10 or so very rich, VERY happy Denver residents that day! That was the only time I have ever seen more than one Ferrari at one time.

Its weird, but ALL the Bently GTs I have seen have been on University Blvd on the way to Cherry Creek mall.

Funny how we love talking about the exotics we have only "seen"

Weird??? WEIRD? Well, I suppose you could say Jessica Alba is weird also, but I'd take her in heartbeat, just like the Veyron. It doesn't get much better than that.
