I was out detailing the car today and I noticed some A****** hit my car. It must have happened yesterday, because it didn't move for a week then I took it out to the gym last night. Its not too bad, and I will post pictures later. I just needed to vent, damn this pisses me off!!!

I hate when **** like that happens. I saw someone in a Honda Accord trying to park in a parking deck and hit a Lexus SUV, drive off, and park 2 rows over! I wrote down the tag number and went and told mall security. Mall security pulled the video, contacted local police, and the girl (19-20) driving the Accord tried to deny it until they showed her the video. The police took my name and number and told me they may need me to appear in court if the lady denies that she did it.
I guess she confessed because I never got a call.

Sorry to hear that there were no cameras .
Next time you are at the gym check and see if there is a car with any damage to it that looks like it couldv'e hit yours.

Well now that the rage has subsided, I buffed out the paint damage, but now I am left with a crease that isn't supposed to be there. So I am gonna head to my body shop on Monday and see if it is possible to pound it out without the need to repaint..... Anybody know if they can do that?

Sorry to say- if a panel needs to be straightened, there's no way to get around having the metal reworked and repainted. Maybe this is the time to file a claim under your comprehensive policy and have it all repaired.

This is why people can't own nice things. Always someone out there that get jealous or doesn't have the respect for others.

Dude that sucks. I can't even stand door dings.

I have a contact for a really good paintless dent repair guy. He charged $100 to fix a dent right on the crease of the door. If that's all it takes, let me know and I forward you his information. It sounds likes it a big crease though. Good luck and post some pictures.

Anyway, my body shop says they can remove the dent without having to repaint. So tomorrow at 10AM they are gonna take a whack at it. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Glad to hear that. Usually, a bad crease will not be totally repaired with a paintless dent repair. Did you get to watch and if you don't mind my asking, how much did it end up costing?

I watched until the pounding started then I got scared. After the dent was gone they buffed out the clearcoat, and it looks great. The whole deal was $125.00. Well worth it to me so the rage wouldn't return everytime I looked at it.

Now that its fix, I'll try to stop by and hit the other side. I didn't have time last time to do both. Me bad!
