wow, i can't believe how upset everyone got. i have a son that i pay support on, I also have this car given to me totally free, plus 4459.00 dollars a month that i am given to do whatever the hell i please to do with because I am what is known as (and I have only heard this in Colorado BTW,) a trustafarian? supposedly boulder is full of them. I live a good life, i get massages, valet park everywhere that offers it, have a maid, have a landscaper, drink top notch booze, and rub up against attractive young girls under 25 quite often. all i wanted to know is what wheels would let me continue to promote the image i love; which is dirty south, pimpin, blingin, and anything else that brings white folks a little off their high horse. I like the gangsta/drug dealer/rapper look and that is my right. and then for you guys to stereotype Louisiana by the people that live there is wrong, that would be like me coming to Colorado and griping about all the hippies with their nalgene water bottles and dogs and bikes, etc.

anyway i won't bother posting on here anymore and don't worry about me coming to any events or anything. i wasn't trying to p!ss anyone off, just thought it was possible to represent on a different level, not be the black sheep of the colorado Z club

next time ill just get a Benz or some other MTV CRIBS approved ride

Sound this dude just want to brag. Peace I'm out! Do whatever the hell you want with your car. Just note that if you arrive to a meet you will hear what we feel about your car. Also I highly suggest not showing up to a track day with 20" blinging wheels. I don't want to fix your car while I could be tearing up mine.

No need for me to stereotype the people who live in Louisiana, I think they stereotyped themselves quite well all over the news during the Hurricane Katrina.

As with all stereotypes, this doesn't go for everyone, just what some people were doing that conveyed the image of what all people would be doing.

Easy, dude, easy. Just remember that you're dealin' with a lot of passion on this board (and not all from Colorado, either) and what a job you did! There has to be more posts in a shorter time than almost any thread on the SW Forum. My wife even read it and was LAUGHING HER A$$ OFF through the entire thing. That's more interest than she's shown in car talk for a long time. She insisted on inflaming the whole thing further. Here's her comment:

"Mudd - that's a little more info than we really wanted; plus you'll need to watch out for that "like a woman" aspect of which you speak. SteveRenodirrttttysououth50cent - Take The Bard's advice and "know thyself". You don't yet.
GaryM05 - Oooo Shotgun *******? Is that where the next meet will be at?"

Great idea.........We need to get planning that. David, have your wife chime in more often, she has great ideas. What I like so much about having a meet a Shotgun's is not for the girls...........no.no..no......it's so I don't have to hear how it's too far a drive for whoever.

Plus there will be plenty of sub 25 year old girls that "dirrrrrrrty south" can grind up against and flash his hundreds and brag about what it must be like to be a thousandairre.

You know, I'm sorry to see this thread come to an end. Up until Renotahoesteve decided to take his toys and go home, it was an interesting dialogue. Sorry he felt he couldn't "represent on a different level", but that's his opinion. I've always enjoyed diversity and as many here have said, it's his car and he can do whatever the hell he wants with it. Lots of us gave him props, but his own insecurities led him to escalate (with more details than I thought I'd ever learn) to the point of leaving. Not the way the game is played, bro.

This has also led me to reexamine my own biases in these discussions. As a racer I make no apologizes for being a 'form follows function' advocate. If a part makes a car faster or more efficient, I'm usually all for it. Anyone who has changed wheels and hefted a cast wheel that has been triple chrome plated AND compared it to a polished, forged wheel, knows what I'm talking about. My point was, and will continue to be, why not get the parts for your car that will allow it to function to its' maximum? While fashion and style go in and out, the laws of physics remain the same. Usually, you can find that happy compromise between your personal sense of bling and a part that won't absolutely handicap your vehicle. As a case in point, I'll stick to my guns on any discussion that says OEM is junk and modding is the only way to go. Sometimes, the factory stuff is the better way to go...IMO of course.

So have a good life Renotahoesteve, but you should have stayed around for the REAL trash talking. The start of the NFL season. Broncos vs. Chargers. Am I right, Mudd? Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' 'bout!

i wasn't going to do a final post but what dkmura said inspired me. I appreciate what you said. up until now, you & YOUNGZ33, JUZTIN, DARREL were all very helpful & classy at the same time. However, MUDD and FUNKYMONKEY1111 were sarcastic, & jerks from their first to their last replies on this thread. so hopefully they can learn to deal with their insecurities regarding minorities and their lifestyle which is duplicated and copied all through out our society. It must be rough to have to be afraid of all the brothers down on East Colfax, but when you look & act like the enemy you are treated that way. At least you can escape to the suburbs....right? ...at least for now. just know this, we are used to **** breaking off where I am from. what happened with Katrina was real, not just a character study for middle class white folks in Colorado to watch on their TV and pass judgement (hopefully none of those *****s need a place to stay in Colorado, right Earl?). how would you feel if during the Columbine School Massacre if everyone would've been looting jewelry stores & homes? I promise it takes a lot more street smarts to live in Houston, N.O., ATL, etc. than anywhere in Colorado. and the more normal, easygoing life you or your children live is only going to leave you more disadvantaged when push comes to shove. nothing else to say, ban me if you feel like it
at least I gave you something to talk about for a while....L8er
