Hi guys, I wanted to start a thread and see if any of the local Z's are going to come out and run this Sunday(the 10th). Their is also a car show for the day. It would be great to get a few Z's together for the race, show or both. Last year we(Boulder Nissan) came in runner-up in the srwd class. This year their are supposed to be a few very fast supras, subarus and dsm's. Should be a great time. Depending on the size of the field their should be a few local Z's that could qualify well in srwd. Let me know. Thanks, Jason

Ok now I am thinking maybe I will race....... Anyone else thinking that?? How does that work, are there classes (i.e stock slow 350Zs)?? Also what time is everyone thinking about showing up??

 

Hmmmmmm....racing, that's sounds kinda interesting. Same question, what time is anyone else going? Maybe I will race, It's damn cold out maybe that will help times?! Call me D-dog, I might go to race as well, I am going to the site now to see if there is any info...

OK so I went on a small spending spree yesterday, so no racing for me. But I will want to watch. Who else is going??

It was a blast! There were 3 z's racing today. The boulder nissan z is sick! i won the championship in the super mod class. you guys did miss out on some fun!

It was a nice day out. I spent most of the day filling out tickets for the TC performance give away. DAMN I hope I win.

 

Super Mod was 14 to 16.99 times. It was the biggest class there, lots of sti's, evos, srt4s, and hondas. I was running 15.2s and when racng started i was just more worried about my lights and the other car other then my times so they were from 15.2 to 16.8. i ran 10 runs, so i gave the z quite a work out. There was one red z there but i never saw it run, i wonder if he is on the board. Ya i got a nice 3 foot trophy and some money, just not sure how much yet. But the boulder nissan z was running 10.7's very nice!

 

Abishop, nice job on the win!! Thats awesome. Were you in the black Z with the Nismo rear spoiler? Abishop and DevildogCO1 thanks for the compliments. For the second year in a row we have placed second in srwd. Our slick got a hole in it so we decided to forfeit the final round rather than risk potential tire failure. We would have liked to have run the supra. He was running 10.3-10.4 at 137mph!!!!!! He is a very nice guy and we will hopefully get a chance to run sometime. The upside to finishing second again is it gives us a reason to install the direct port nitrous I have been thinking about. Hopefully the 3rd time is a charm and we can get the win next year.
