For the benefit of the few people who couldn't make it today for our "drive" today.
Six cars, 3 silverstone, 1 sunset, 1 daytona and ppw.
We all met at noon and of course bs'd for awhile.
Decided to run through Boulder Canyon into Nederland for lunch and more chat time.
Upon arrival, we found the Frozen Dead Guy Days festival in full swing and found a parking lot for side by side display of our cars.
Needless to say, we had several people stop by to talk and check them out. We also met a local business owner who owns a silverstone and was quite surprised to see Zs in Nederland.
Couldn't find a restaurant (too many hungry people) and dropped back into Boulder for nourishment at BJ's brewery (surprised?) on the Pearl Street Mall downtown.
Of course, I picked up an fdg t-shirt.
You missed another GREAT Colorado meet. Perhaps next time.

Glad to hear everyone had a good time!
For those who might be wondering, the "Frozen dead guys festival" in the small Colorado town of Nederland (just west of Boulder) is a tongue-in-cheek celebration of an actual body being kept frozen with dry ice. The family of the deceased man hopes that what caused the death can someday be cured and that the deceased will be cryogenically revived. The family won a court case with the town to maintain the body.
As you can guess, the local media had a field day with the story.

dk, thought you left already.
I can't imagine you missing the fun if you were still in town. BTW, we all apparently gave the same dead guy salute to a bunch of anti-war protesters at Nederland's busy traffic circle.
Colorado, always looking for an excuse to party. What will we think of next, an Alfred Packer cannibal celebration. Nah!
Everyone had a chance to experience my "sounds" even if there was no U2 in the house. Respectful as usual, we closed the Z doors to avoid arrest or even worse, waking up the "head."
dk, PM me your schedule. I may want to go west and observe your moves.
