at least the wind has stopped. There's about 42" of snow burying my 3 cars.

Some drifts are higher.

So much for subaru all wheel drive... 3 subarus have gotten stuck within 150 feet of my house today.

Luckily for them i have a REAL snow car to pull their asses out.

Edit: the first one that got stuck, my neighbor with a durango thought he was hot **** and tried to pull the subies out too but dug himself a nice hole.... i pulled him out too.... when it snows, ford ftw

I find it funny that the H2's around here in Westminster got stuck. The only one's that didn't with 35" of snow out here were Jeeps and lifted-*** trucks (and a Ford Taurus SHO for some weird reason).

A lot of it has to do with tires. As long as the snow is not too deep, my G, with snow performance tires, gets better traction than a 4 wheel drive with all season tires.

Also, driver matters a whole hell of a lot.

LOL...19" BFG comp TA KDW2's don't like snow. My OEM pilot sport all seasons on my stockers suck just as bad, and I'm as skilled as it gets when driving a RWD high(er) HP car in the snow.
Something happened though. My ABS, traction control, and "SLIP" lights are all on, and the ABS and traction control is permanently off now. I dunno what's going on, but I hope it's off when I start it up Saturday morning (getting a ride to work tomorrow because I can't get out of my APT complex)

Don't get me wrong, my G gets great traction with Dunlop M3 Snow performance tires, but the 6 foot drift in my driveway means I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.

Ha, i think most of us have that same snow tire, and agreed. My car will go from snow monster, to snow plow the second i hit that first 5 foot mound of snow. My grill will love it, be biggest fear? white car stuck in white snow with snow plows on the prowl....

Is it just me or the snow out here in DIA was weird? The dry snow and snow drifts left no snow on the cars or 2ft. around every car on my block. It was like if the snow was afraid of the car!
