I've always been a n/a man, so maybe I'm goofy for thinking F/I is the easy (expensive) way out.

Even a highly modded LS6 can't give Kevin the kind of power he's looking for N/A, he's a crazy man!

Yea N/A is ruthless up here in Colorado, FI is the only way to go. As far as FI being the easy way out, not a chance. Designing and installing an efficient and effective turbo system is not easy by any means. Combined with the heat it produces and the strain on mechanical components it is tough, expensive, and one of the most rewarding things you can do. Now as for nitrous........

I guess I shouldn't say 'easy' way out... I guess I mean, more like the 'unnatural half-brother you really don't want'. Aka, sure you can do it, but it's so not what the Z engine is designed for and that is a large part of the cost... why not just buy an Evo9 and be done with it? Sure they aren't purdy like a z, but ***** to the wall performance, can't touch them for the cash...
I should have added... I've been in a couple boosted Z's, including Juztins. No offense man, just didn't really think it was all that fast. I think it's a n/a thing - my friends EVO9 doesn't seem fast either (well, untill he blows by me... hehe). I guess I like to stomp it and feel it immediately... I'm not use to boosted cars... maybe if I owned and drove one... still, I'm betting my n/a setup, in most daily driver conditions (aka, wiping around town or in light traffic), is going to give boosted cars some fits. Well, that's my hope at least...
I'll probably be installing a TT next year once I get this done and I get crushed by kevin!

Not my style visually, but you can't argue with the stats for the cash. 3.9 0-60 is not a joke (and that is stock). The new evo10 looks a ton better, but they are only making it auto with paddle shifters... the 9 is a great track car for the cash.

That's the thing about TT's they are deceptively fast, without the boost lag of ST's they don't have that sudden kick in the pants, that power is just always there.
Kevin, I'm impressed by your relentless pursuit of power despite the forces of natural selection chasing you. And sure, your car's going to be fast and all... but it will still get spanked by my ride once it's done. That's right, I'm modding my Z and it will crush all.
It's powered by Chuck Norris, fools!!! Muahhahhahaa!!!!!!!
