Default Denver area wheel repair shop?

Hey guys,

Looks like one of the newly created pot holes from all this snow has claimed another victim, the rear wheel of my wifes Subaru. I was wondering if anyone had a shop that they would recommend? She was running aftermarket 18's and I'd like to try to have it fixed before having to get a new one.

Take it to Trudesign wheels in Arvada at 52nd and Ward Rd.. They are wheel repair specialists and can also build custom wheels with CAD/CAM mills. If anyone can fix it (or tell you it's a no hoper) it's Jim Lyon (who runs the place). (303) 422-5090

Another good option for you if they dont work out (which sounds like it should) is Woodys Wheel Works. They are one of the premier denver spots to get your wheels done up. Really good prices, and flawless paint matching.

Thanks guys I appreciate the recommendations. This things got me confused, the tire was all but flat when she got home but then I aired it up and its still holding this morning. I'm hoping its not as bad as I was expecting but I still don't understand how it could lose air at one point and then hold air later...but I'll get it checked.

Maybe it wasnt a pot hole? Could just be a slow air leak... or maybe when she hit the pot hole the bead came off the rim and leaked it's air out, but then when you put the air in the bead reset so it's now holding air? Dont know... keep an eye on it for a few days, and then getting it checked out is what i would suggest...

This happened to me in my daily driver a couple weeks ago. I took it in and they said that the bead just needed to be set again and it needed a new valve stem. Good luck.

I just went out to put the spare on the rear and the front tire was flat now too. I can feel the dents on the inside of each wheel...it just keeps getting better.

Once I get off todays confernece calls I'll be calling the guys you suggested, thanks again.
