Default Broadband question for those in Colorado Springs and suburbs

I've got a buddy who i s moving from Austin to Colorado Springs and he has not been able to find out much about broadband availability in and around colorado springs. Could someone who knows post the various providers, who is good, and where he should look online/or who he should call to find out about availability for specifics areas. DSL, cable modem, wireless?

Any info would prove very useful, he hasn't been able to find much online.

Thanks ahead of time.

I live here in Colorado Springs. Adelphia's Powerlink cable broadband is probably the most popular here in town. I consistently get about 1.8 megabit download speeds and that is wireless (through a Linksys wireless router).

This is a decent site to find bandwidth test results by zip code.

Hope this info helps...
