Default Track woes....NOT FOR LONG!

OK, here it goes just when I think the spending is at a stand still....****.WTF? I go to the track, my best, no laughs was a 12.8 @ 113 with my Vortech ste up,
So I think I will be able to do better with my new set up!....Hell not! I broke a 14 twards the end of the night, it was hard to read the slip through the tears.
I thought it was just driver so, E from Boulder took 2 runs =ly a sucky!
The car spins all through 4th under ANY boost. Went from the 18psi. map to the 12.5, no change, tire somke 1/2 way down the track. E did a run spun 1st second somke in 3third, I looked at the boost cont. his's peak boost was only 5.4psi. on that run.
Many other drivers were saying how the track was shi t?!!
Still hurts. Got a round the back nut-punch by a EOVO? EVEO EVO?? Missibutsishi. F-that, this will no happen again!
Set up is a set of Pirelli neros 275 40 18s (beat bad), thanks to the new line locks, street trials !
ACT clutch, this clutch smells under boost?
Stock 1/2 shafts.
And a hell of a lot of HP from SFR!

NOT SOON ENOUGH!!!! 4 to 12 weeks!! I put the deposit down 4 weeks ago this coming Saturday, the wait is killing me. The setup will be 18x10 on the rear and 18x9 in the front. I am not sure what the offsets are but Altered Atmosphere said they will order the correct ones and I trust them. The tires are BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 265/35-18 in the rear and 245/35-18 up front. I think the new setup will look really good, just can't wait to see it.

sounds like you need some slicks, like full out Hoosier drag slicks, that should solve your traction problem. (but im guessing you still spin those nittos...)

Also, you should post up your best time slip. I'd like to see you 60' time just to see how much time you could make up if you had slicks to launch. I dont see you car running slower then 10's with slicks! that thing is a beast!

DevilDog, I'm proud of ya man. All the cool stuff you have to wait for and I know that's not your style!
I have the same fears as Andrew with those Nitto's although if you have very little slip with that kind of HP there gose your axle and what else?
I have some vids I am uploading to youtube right now, will add link SOON!

I have to agree with Andrew, Kevin. With all that power I would look into stronger axles and such and just run a set of wide as$ slicks to get the power down.

MT street radials will do the job, specially with that much power shouldnt be a problem spinning them enough in the water box to get them hot, I wasnt getting mine that hot and I was cutting 1.7 60' that with a little sideways action off the line. Your car with that much power should be easily a 10 sec car. The only reason I am building the motor is for the extra 100-150whp and reliability with that much power. I could see 10s with around 650-680whp. I want another street 350Z to beat my time already that way it will force me to getting the motor done sooner

I want to do all this next weekend, new spark plugs tires, stage 5 axels, and trip. plate clutch.
I need to pull the pass. side turbo in order to get the trans. out, dread.
I should be ale to do it all on sat., and Sun. Get the rear tires lined up by Boulder Nissan first of the week, be ready for track on Wed. night!
