Default What is the best place to install Nitrous in Colorado?

Hello,

I have decided to install nitrous 100 shot on my G35. I was wondering what is the best place to BUY, Install, and tune the G35.

I have called http://www.tcperf.com/ couple days ago, and they said it's going to cost me around $2250 for everything, but that seems like steal for me. the price going to cover everything, you can see that from my older post,
https://my350z.com/forum/nitrous-oxide/270510-i-want-to-go-with-nitrous-is-that-price-right.html

I just need you halp

Thanks
Yazeed

I would go there if I were you, great place........but for $2250, I would take that and put it towards F/I. I know you didn't ask my opinion, but I thought I would give it anyway.

Ok, before this becomes a flame fest on the prices of our nitrous install lets cover what that price included. NX wet nitrous kit (customer requested NX brand which is the most expensive) Bottle heater, electric pressure gauge, gauge pod, wiring of an existing gauge to the gauge pod, installation labor, sales tax AND overnight shipping charges because he wanted it done the next day and was not willing to wait for a normal stock order. Originally it started off as just a simple dry kit installation which was going to be much cheaper. But accessories added on made the parts list much more expensive. I even included a break in labor for isntalling all of this at one time.

Beyond all that, nitrous is not worth 2k, in parts yes, in what you get no. Unless your using your ride solely for drag and dont care about having to clean the engine all the time, constant refils, the huge risk of blowing something up, go try something else, say, FI as Mudd suggested. Your only 3k shy of a good turbo kit at that point and you will see much better improvments! Nitrous is the cheating way out (unless all it does is drag like Boulder Nissans ride in which case every bit helps right?)

Im sure thats a good price for what he wanted. But man, thats half a ST kit thats going to give you constant enjoyment where as a 100 shot gives you a shot here and there of power.

Sure there are pros and cons to Nitrous. It really just depends on what your personal preference is. One of the pros to it is that when the switch is off, your car is totally stock and reliable. No need for any worries and watching that AF gauge constantly. I personally prefer turbos on everything I own, but for the best $/HP you cant beat Nitrous.

$2k for guaranteed 100hp installed, or 7k for a TN ST kit. (Don't forget install, support mods, tuning). $/HP it doesn't get much more obvious, and one could argue it is easier on the engine as it's not always constant. More less what you want your driveability to be is what's important. I'd consider nitrous if I would just be happy with a 100/150 shot of power every here and there and not all the time. Of course I wasn't even happy with a 300 shot of constant power, but either way if you consider going nitrous or FI, I'd only recommend TC Performance - you will be in the best hands with your Z with them. Just look at the beasts that have come out of their shop, my old Z pales in comparison to most of their other projects
