It doesn't seem like there are too many New Mexico members on this site, you are only the second I have noticed and I have been checking this forum since the days of JMANZ when the forum first started (I changed sigs). Then again, maybe I just didn't notice.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you have your 3M Clearbra installed. I really wanted to put one on, but didn't know of anyone in town who had experience with them. My bumper already has a few doses of touch-up-paint, but eventually I want to get it re-painted and have a clear-bra put on.
Anyway, there do seem to be quite a bit of Zs running around here in Albuquerque, but I don't know anyone else who owns one. I take my Z to the Track every once in a while with some friends, but other than that I don't really cruise/street race/etc. Maybe someday I can meet up with you and you can let me drool over your car....I promise I won't slober directly on it

 

Hi, my name is Seth. I'm glad to see another New Mexican Z enthusiast. I thought I was the only one. I got my clear bra at Accessories Unlimited. The install had some wrinkles and they are going to replace it. It was also expensive. I heard that "The Tint Factory" also does a good job. Just make sure that if you get one that you make sure it's the one made for the Z and not just some pieces cut and shaped at the store. Also make sure you get the Hood and the front bumper.

Your gonna have to tell me more about the track experience. That sounds fun. I'm just a cruiser, not a racer. I do like to open her up on road trips though. Post a pic of your ride. If it's a straight stocker I'll keep an eye out for ya..... Get some clear sidemarkers or something so I'll know you when I see you. Or maybe some HRE's?

 

...yeap, it's a straight stocker. All I have is Tint, and the car is Chrome Silver. I am considering getting some gunmetal TE-37s (like half the people on this board), but my "rational" side keeps telling me I should work on paying off the car ASAP. We'll see which side wins I guess. Anyway, if I see your car I'll definately recognize you, so I'll keep a lookout for you as well...btw my name is Marco.

Been here on this site since I ordered in January. I got the first Daytona Blue Touring in town.. Now I have seen others.. Nice to know you all are out there. I had the clear 3M film put on also.. Its nice but I ahve had a few rock hits that have gotten through.. or at least it looks like it.

No, The Blue Track that was on the showroom floor was the one I drove down from Santa Fe. My Blue Z was missing at the time and they were going to give me that one if mine didnt show up, but it did about two weeks after. I believe a woman bought that one. I have a Daytona Blue Touring with everything but brembos and light weight rims. I wouldnt mind getting together with you guys for lunch sometime and talk about your experiences.

Hey Seth. Pics look great. Looks like your getting a lot of response from your car on this site. Me, brian and others. we need to all get together for some more fun stuff. Jamie said he wants to get everyone together for a dragstrip day. Of course he will win, but it should be a good time. I am going to keep everyone updated on the high performance driving clinic at Sandia Motorsports park in Sept. I will have a firm date soon for anyone interested. It will be put on by the SCCA.

Ive seen a brickyard, silver, ppwhite and one black and one DBlue... oh and yeah I have seen the lamanz one time.

Did any of you get caught by the freaky rain yesterday? I had to zig zag through town to miss the small dirty dropsof hell rain.. I did it too.. not one spot....whew.... it takes me a long time to wash my car to my satisfaction....

I ran up to Sante Fe on Saturday and got drenched. I took it up to the crest on Sunday and now she really needs a bath. The crest drive is awesome, except for all the crotch rockets zooming by you. Did anyone see the blue bike that ate the pavement? Thankfully the guy was ok but he laid the bike down at around 50mph. Lucky he didn't go over the edge.

 

So far I dive to work and back with a few side trips to places that I can keep an eye on my Z or where I will not be long. I should get it out there but I usually am flying my balloon on the weekends... no time.... or washing my Z..LOL... that takes me a long time...

Man the spitting that is called rain here is getting on my nerves... I drove my DBZ on friday to work and came out to dirty little spots all over.

I had to wait till Sunday to wash her and that took a good three hours.... did a mcguiers wax too. She soooo Shiny!

How are you all dealing with the brake dust ? I have head of waxing the rims..but...
