so, i heard that there is a weekly gathering at the grocery warehouse down there whith a **** ton of cars on saturday nights... anyone know if its still goin on? me and some friends were thinking about drivin down and checkin it out if its worth it.

I went to one Saturday meet and it was a bunch of teenage ricers. The sunday meet has mostly muscle cars but the imports do come out sometimes.

Since your up north, MHZ has its monthly meeting coming up this sunday. We are getting a free talk from an open wheel racer who is gonna give us some pointers on racing street cars, some good food/beer, then a little car gazing. Not a huge carshow, but a good time none the less, welcome to join, 7pm at the Rock Bottom in Park Meadows. Just ask for MileHighZ when you come in.

 

Yeah, I accidentally stumbled across the Springs grocery warehouse meet a few months back; I was working a weekend shift on base, and I wanted some Carls Jr; I went through the CJ's drivethru at the gas station right there, and a bunch of teenagers walked by and stared at the front of my G, trying to determine if those were actually intercoolers or not.

They are.

 

Oh, and if you are in Denver, I do recommend the MHZ meetings. It's a good group of people, although with any group there are differences of opinion on things. However, it's the best Z group in Colorado!

i went to the milehighz photoshoot, they are a good bunch of people. i might have to show up for the sunday meet too.
